I noticed people with Venus square/opposite Saturn are rich kids, and/or just rich in general. IP: Logged |

That's interesting...I was totally ready to dispute you, but then I remembered that one of my closest friends has Venus square Saturn and he's very, very wealthy. And yes, he was a rich kid, also. His wealth is inherited. Saturn rules his 8th House of other people's finances, but he also has Jupiter square Pluto. Jupiter-Pluto aspects are highly suggestive of wealth. I have Venus sextile Saturn and oh how I wish it could do something for me. LOL!! As a matter of fact, my position at my job was eliminated on Monday and my last day is January 9th. So I really hope Venus and Saturn can help a sistuh out. LOL!! Can you name the house rulerships for some of your findings? I'm trying to think of other people now. Donald Fagen from Steely Dan has a hard Venus-Saturn aspect, I can't remember which one off the top of my head. Geocosmic Valentine ------------------ "Everybody is a star!" I have Venus square Saturn and I guess I'm rich.AG, your standards of rich might be a lot higher than other people. Like, I've never thought of myself as super rich, but when I think about it compared to my peers, I have more money. Compared to the rest of the country I'm VERY rich (my parents will not be getting any tax breaks under Obama), but not so rich compared to other people in my county. I also happen to live in a very wealthy county, so relatively, I'm not. IP: Logged |

I wish you were right But I hope it's not too late for me Perhaps Saturn-Venus hard aspects make a person more disciplined with money? IP: Logged |

I think it depends more on what houses Venus and Saturn rule as well as their own house placements and other aspects in the chart. My father has Venus opposite Saturn, and he grew up in extreme poverty.

Possibly. For me I have Venus in Gemini (7th house) Square Saturn in Virgo (10th house) Also Venus Squares Jupiter in virgo (9th house) I am very good with money, but I think for me it's not something that is handed to me, I guess I'd have to work hard for it. IP: Logged |

I think that is a result of compensating for the feeling of being unvaluable. (when we feel unloved, we feel we lack worth) Saturn in sq. or opp. leaves venus feeling inadequate and unloved. So they compensate. Just one of the ways an unloved person trys to find value. IP: Logged |

I think that eventually Saturn will bring his discipline to my wild Sagittarian Venus. In fact, this Christmas I'm asking for a tool that will help me keep a hold on my money. I suffer a bit from "Out of sight, out of mind" syndrom sometimes, so I just need to keep myself reminded of where I'm at. I don't think there will be a problem once I start doing that consistently. What gets measured gets managed. - Words to live by IP: Logged |

That's a bit of a stretch to generalize this, I'm living proof that this isn't true, I'm POOR, and have Venus (7th house) opposition Saturn (Saturn ruled capricorn is on my 2nd house cusp), unless my college education pays off someday, or I marry someone wealthy lol!IP: Logged |

hmm, well my venus is in home, libra, in the III house, so intelligence and beauty in one. :Pit squares my saturn, which is in its home , capricorn. in the 5th house. which is ironic, coz venus relates to a similar field as the fifth house? my placements might be prominent of the undervalued venus feelings. i certainly feel it anyway. I think this has some ring of truth to it. I was born wealthy and to an affluent family...had servants, drivers, the whole works. It's only now in my mid 20s that I am learning the value of money. I started working as soon as I got out of high school but I had a very hard time keeping the money, due to the fact that I spent all my hard earned cash on adventures, clothes, beauty services and misc. useless things. Even when I was making bank, I didn't even have any savings until I was 21 years old. I was so used to spending mommy and daddy's money plus the luxurious lifestyle that few people could afford. I'm so much better off now because experience was a big teacher for me...another main subject when it comes to Saturn.IP: Logged |

This makes me laugh...Any real money I have comes from being a spoiled Taurus with a shopaholic mother (we both have Neptune in the 2nd and have no clue about money). I do have Jupiter in the 8th, that seems like more of a "moneymaker" than my Venus Saturn. Except I haven't inherited anything and probably won't ever marry for money...I'm just spoiled, I guess. Well, I don't usually reveal this aspect of my life to anyone but my closest friends but for the sake of astrological analysis I'll say this: I have Venus square Saturn and by most people's standards I'd be considered fairly wealthy. I certainly grew up in a very wealthy household, growing up in a mansion (that eventually Cher bought when they sold it) on a private island in Miami Beach with a staff of governesses, a butler, a chauffeur, cooks, etc. I went to Cotillion and boarding school. Besides having a trust fund I also inherited a great deal of money when my father died (I have Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto in the 8th).IP: Logged |
