How does the dipositor of your sun sign effect you?

I'm a capricorn and saturn is in pisces and in so many ways I'm so much like a pisces. I'm the most unorganized and nebulous cappy. I'm a total dreamer.

depositor is the ruler of the sign that a planet is in

for instance

I have Sun in Scorpio,and so depositor of my sun is Pluto in Libra

yeah...I am like a Libra ......actually my Mercury and Venus are in the actual constellation of Libra. I believe that constellations have some influence in the chart.

the ruler of my chart Mercury is conjunct/parallel Venus in 3rd.

Mars is also the traditional ruler of Scorpio
some astrologers use co-rulers. I do,influenced by Stephen Arroyo. My depositor Mars is in Aquarius, and I can relate to Aquarius in some ways. Both my Moon and Mars are in the constellation of Aquarius. My Sun is semisquare Mars/Uranus midpoint with 15 minutes of arc,and that could probably help me relate to Aquarius. My Sun is parallel Jupiter/Uranus midpoint with 1 minute of arc too.

It's the planet that rules the sign the other planet is in. So the sun's dipositor would be whatever planet rules the sign the sun is in.

I'm capricorn so my sun's depositor is saturn because saturn rules capricorn.

Libra Sun deposited by Scorpio Venus. In fact, my entire chart is deposited by Venus and Pluto, who are in mutual reception.

Yet another reason why I'm just about as Scorpionic as one can get.

Oooh! I've just learned something new

Virgo Sun deposited by Mercury Libra. Did I phrase that correctly ?

I guess I do feel rather Libra-like at times. My chart ruler is Venus though... Taurus rising... I do tend to feel Venusian a lot of the time.

But what if the depositor has a lot of aspects, or has a strong conjunction? Doesn't that affect things somewhat?

The dispositor of my Sun-sign has much more influence on me than the Sun itself.!;-)

Sun = Cancer = dispositor = Moon

My Moon placed in my 1st house ("right in the middle of my face", in my most active personality-house) - and in fiery Sagittarius. That's why I probably rather come up as a "fiery", adventurous person - I also tend to neglect my deep rooted security-needs and all ...

Also, my best female friends are all "fiery" (mostly Sagittarian-Ladies, one Aries) - and almost ALL of the guys I've ever fallen in love with are Leos! ;-)

*** the element of "neglecting my Sun-sign's needs ... that has to be taken quite literally. My Moon and Sun are in quincunx - if I manage to satisfy my fiery Moon-needs, my senstive Water-Sun-needs are neglected a bit ... It is hard for me to find a balance between these to ... with my watery Cancer-Sun being on the losing end, until now ... It is something that I am just about to discover, now, at the end of my 3Os...***

This rule is a bit tricky when the Sun is in its natural ruler -Leo, but my Mercury is in Leo, so Mercury is my depositor.

My Suns depositor is Saturn in Leo which is deposited by my Sun in Capricorn - What a lovely mutual reception.

I'm not sure what it means but I guess it has something to do with delay, restricted play or control of some sort...It dampens optimism.
I don't think I have any Leo attributes, Capricorn & Saturn definitely "reign supreme" in my chart.

My Sun is in Gemini and is disposited by Mercury in Gemini (both in 10th house).

The way my chart plays out is that my Libra Sun gets disposited by Scorpio Venus, whose dispositor is Libra Pluto, and Pluto goes back to Venus, thus the mutual reception and co-rulership of Venus and Pluto over my Chart.

The dispositor of my sun is venus and my venus is in Scorpio. Ya i have very strong scorpio influence.. but I also have other 2 planets in scorpio..
going by this, i am attracted to everything mysterious,different,new etc.

my sister is a capricorn and her dispositor saturn is in libra. she is indecisive like a libra but not much libra like tastes.
