I know you are a very busy person... and I may be asking a lot here... but if you could find it in your to favor me with some of your wisdom...

(And I can be very patient...)

A few weeks ago I met someone, and she's totally captivated me. We are very different personalities, yet we have so much in common. I feel so at ease with her and if my perceptions are accurate, she feels the same way toward me. For the first time in my life I understand the concept of feeling like you've known someone much longer than you have. Her parents (so far as I can tell) are somewhat hardnosed Christians, and this leaves her with a few 'quirks' in her moral thinking, but essentially she is as free a spirit as myself. We are breathlessly, hopelessly, madly in love. Neither one of us, despite our most reserved intentions, can imagine a future without the other. It feels so right to us; we don't question the validity of our feelings.

I don't want to say it's scary, 'cause it's not, but my Mind is left blinking and going "huh? what just happened?" I am at a crossroads in my life, I have just begun a new cycle (one spiral up from the last), and so much of my life is in (material) disarray right now. My self-esteem is under challenging conditions. So what I want to know is:

Two things. First, what can astrology say about this relationship's chances of lasting? And second, I just want to know anything astrology can say about her and the relationship itself; just basic points and anything big and glaringly obvious (to an astrologer).

I'd really, really appreciate your insIght here, Auriel. You have good intuition, that flows from a good heart, and a healthy connection to your Higher Self. I trust your advice, and just once it would be nice to have a little guidance. Could you, please? When you have a little extra time?

I already calculated the charts...

Hi Meercatt, is this the same person you listed on the other forum?? I lOOked at that one before, and I remember thinking you were good together. I'll have to take a lOOk at the charts to remember why when I get back. I feel more from opening the charts than reading the aspects. It's hard to explain, but as intuitive as you are, you might understand it. BTW, I think you're awesome, so if you're ever struggling with that self-esteem, you can come and hang out here.

When I glance through the aspects you listed, Moon sextile Venus stuck out at me. That is a strong Love aspect. It'll help make the relationship very loving. Venus conjunct Jupiter will bring the union sweet blessings. The Mercury trines are great for communication. You'll always be able to talk things out when you have problems. Moon square Pluto popped out as the biggest challenge. It'll make the relationship profound and intense. When the transits are aspecting it, emotional disputes will be present--if you don't control it.

The first thing I noticed about her aspects in her chart is Sun oppose Uranus. It'll give her a rebellious streak that she needs to learn to control. She needs learn to use that aspect to bring balance in her life between who she is and allowing that individuality to shine. There are ways besides rebellion. Until she's mature enough to deal with it, rebellion it will be--and it may be loud, emotional and volatile since her Moon is squaring her Mars. That's another aspect she needs to learn to control. It's a much tougher aspect to master. She needs lots of Love and support. Treat her with kid gloves during these times and teach her that it's okay to get angry but it needs to be expressed in a positive manner. Finding an outlet for it would be good. Yoga and massage would both be good for her. So would breathing exercises. Is she dealing with some major pain from childhood?? Possibly from her religious parents?? I know there is. I can feel it. Geez, and I haven't even opened her chart! She must be connected to you for me to be tuned into her.

Well, have a good holiday weekend!! I'll check the charts next week.

Whoops, I didn't meant to write that much! It just kept coming to me and I kept writing....Okay, where's the Moon?! Some astrologer I am. I don't even know where the transits are half the time! My guess is it's in Pisces, given my intuition is high and I just did that w/o charts.

Auriel, you're a true sweet I think you're pretty awesome yourself! Everything you mentioned is right on. "Profound" and "intense" are very apt words. I can't tell you how much this means to me. I'll try to find out the node/chiron aspects for you.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Ok, Auriel, I re-calc'ed the charts with Chiron and True Nodes (would you prefer mean nodes?), here's what I got:

I have my North Node in Scorpio, South Node in Taurus, Chiron in Aries (Retrograde)

She has her North Node in Cancer (Retrograde), South Node in Capricorn (Retrograde), Chiron in Taurus

Synastrial Aspects:
My NN sextile her Mc; my NN opposite her Chiron; my Chiron conjunct her Venus; my Chiron opposite her Jupiter; my Chiron trine her Neptune; my Chiron opposite her Pluto; my Chiron square her Mc; my Mc conjunct her NN; my Asc square her NN; my Pluto square her NN; my Mercury square her NN; my Sun square her NN

I don't know why no South Node aspects showed up (maybe there just aren't any?).

By the way, what did you have a *feeling* about?

Hi Meercatt,

I had a feeling there'd be strong Node and Chiron aspects. The Venus conjunct Chiron is a very strong Love aspect and you will always Love each other deeply. You can help each other heal from any problems from the past and go forward together.

Heya, Auriel, glad to have you back. Glad you had a good vacation, too.

Internet service at my place was shut off for the last few days, so don't think I'd forgotten about ya!

Meercat, I thought you said your birthday was October 10th somewhere else on the site. Or did I make a mistake? Just double checking!

It's definitely the 8th, Randall - of the 10th month. I sometimes type the 8 and 10 in the wrong place when I'm calculating my chart - maybe you had the same mix-up in your head.

Is that all you were gonna say, Auriel? The way you said "I'll check the charts next week" I thought there was more, but you haven't mentioned anything since then.

Things are only getting more profound and intense. It's wonderful, it feels so "meant to be". And we *are* healing influences on each other, you were right about that.

*Sigh*

Meercatt,

When I opened the charts, the same things stood out to me. Was there something else you wanted me to look at? Maybe with your next question, I won't write a whole book!

Meercatt,

I answered your email twice and something happened to keep me from sending it both times. One time I was clicking on send and the power went out!! There wasn't even a thunderstorm! I figured you'd get it when the time was right. Third time a charm??

please send that e-mail you've been trying to send. would probably make very instructive reading for me right now.

i've been at this post for days. pour my heart out, erase it again. not fit for posting. more like a process. i think i finally distilled the useful essence:

if i believe in a miracle,
and it never manifests,
what will that do to everything i say i believe in?
what will that do to me?

I'll try to resend it today, Meercatt. I'm crunched for time, though. It may have to wait until I get back in January.

Hang in there, Meercatt. Sorry I couldn't be there before. I tried, but for some reason, I guess you weren't supposed to get my message. You can email me if you'd like to talk.
