My mother's small black cat, Anna, has been missing since yesterday. She always comes home and stays in at night, but she hasn't been seen for over 24 hours now and this is not like her at all. It's also been raining and she always runs inside when it rains. So we're all worried that something bad has happened to her. I need to know whether she's ok, and where we can find her. It would be HORRIBLE if she's lying somewhere suffering. Any psychic insights AT ALL would be very very appreciated right now. If anyone knows horary astro and can use it to answer my question, the time and place of me asking this question is 4 September 2008 11.49am, Dunedin, New Zealand. I'm already freaking out because I don't know how to read horary charts, and all that's jumping out at me is late degree ASC conjunct Pluto, 29 degree IC and sun and Saturn conjunct... Thank you! I keep seeing big ferny, palm type plants and giant leafed ones. I think she is ok. Is she spayed? I see a couple more cats near her. Pottery...why I get that I do not know. Red clay, greenhouse like...or patio? I see a large birdcage. Stucco or sandy like beige concrete wall? Or the word or name Stonewall. Someone named Keyes. I don't know if any of that resonates with you. I get more but it sounds silly. Crackers, something about that name or word. I wish her a safe return.------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Thank you Lexx! She is speyed, and I'm not sure how friendly she can be with other animals as she's usually not very social. From what you describe, she could be anywhere in the neighbourhood but none of the words ring a bell. Could the birdcage be something to do with chickens? Mr Gemini knows someone named Keyes but he wouldn't be in my mother's neighbourhood... Thanks for the good wishes and I hope you're right that she's ok. If you do get anything else I'd like to hear it no matter how silly! Thank you!!! IP: Logged |

I shall sleep on it. Yes it could be chickens. She seems to be hiding. Something scared her I feel. A little but mean loud pug type dog comes to mind. He is black and white I think. I keep seeing ferny growth though, or a thick hedge. I hope she is home soon. I feel she is not far away, just hiding. She is not interacting with the other cats, but they do seem to be watching her for some reason. ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Thank you! She is easily scared, so this sounds right. My mother is thinking that the next door neighbour (who is mean) might have trapped her just to be nasty, and that neighbour happens to have chickens - so that's why I asked if it might be a chicken cage. I don't know that the neighbour would have done this, but it may be that she's somewhere near that person's house. She never ventures very far away. This morning before I posted, my thought was 'willows' and that she might be hiding under or near some willows or willow-type plants. But I asked my mother and said the only willows are further away than Anna would go. But I think you're right about the fern-type plants or the hedge. Thanks again, and if you (or anyone else) gets any more insights then I'm eager to hear about them. Thank you! IP: Logged |

I hope your cat turns up. I would be devastated if my cat went missing. I think she will be okay.

When a cat is frightened it will often run much farther than it is used to going. And in such a hurry will not mark or memorize the path they took. They will become disoriented, lost and afraid to venture out from hiding. Does she come when called? Visit the willow area and call to her. She could have bolted there or any place farther than what is familiar to her. PS. At the risk of attracting more cats or other animals...I suggest maybe leaving a thin trail of cat kibble and treat nibbles from your mom's home and out a few directions Anna was known to go. Also, how old is Anna?------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Thanks, Lexx. We'll try those things. Anna is... I think, maybe around 10. (My mum's other cat is 20!) writesomething, I was told that a late degree ASC in horary means that the chart can't be interpreted... so there probably isn't much point in me posting it. Thanks anyway! IP: Logged |

OK...something you will not want to consider. I have had cats who died of "old age" as young as 8 1/2 and others as old as 24. She could have gone off and fell "asleep" and peacefully left. Animals are more calm about dying than we humans. If she did indeed go off to have her dignity and slip out quietly, it would not ping off most psychic waves because she would be calm about it and accepting of the change. I hope she returns alive but if not I hope her possible passing was a soft calm gentle one as it is for most cats. Look in all her hidey places, she could be there. ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Always possible I guess, based on your experience now that you bring that up. She's in very good health though and I don't think anyone would have considered that. Hmm. Interesting that a peaceful drifting off wouldn't register psychically - why is that?IP: Logged |

It can, but there are millions of cats out there, so it is hard to hone on just one unless one personally knows it. It just crossed my mind because while I see other cats, they seem to not be interacting with her. The feeling I get is a surreal calmness. That is what strikes me as odd if she were hurt, lost, or afraid. So I considered.."ghost cat". ------------------ It is not about waiting for storms to pass...it is about learning to dance in the rain! __________________________________________________________________________

She's back! She's fine, no injuries, BUT she is scared to come inside for some reason. Seems like maybe she did get a fright somewhere and decided to hide - we'll never know I guess - but the main thing is that she's back! Thanks tons for all your help Lexx! IP: Logged |
