Hi there, Im new at this and wonder if anyone can help me with a dilema regarding soulmates.

I met a guy called Jason in 1996 and over the years we have had several encounters and assignations but nothing has ever come off it properly. In 2003 I met another guy and got into a relationship we moved intogether and got engaged. I occasionally heard from Jason via text message and email and had a lot of vivid dreams about me and him being together. My fiance left me in may 2008 to move in with another woman which was devestating. Then strangely Jason comes back on the scene and has recently become single again as well.

I am convinced he is my soulmate but things never have worked out, so can anyone advise me on this please? I have always loved him and I am pretty certain he has very strong feelings for me and as we seem stuck on this merry go round and keep coming back to each other, is there any chance we have a future together?

Anyone who could help me out with this, Id be very grateful, having had such a lousy 5 months I'm beginning to feel more positive about the future and any guidance would be fantastic.

Leigh, hopefully someone will check out your synastry together, but I have a few thoughts--

Don't ask whether you have a future together. Check out your present together! The present moment is the only real truth. Spend lots of time getting to know this man, make out with him, have picnics, find out whether there's real fun, love or chemistry between you.

Synastry can be very misleading before two people actually get together. I mean, you could have perfect synastry with an 80-year-old stranger across the globe who you'll never meet, and it's a big "so what." Careful not to use obsessing/wondering about your astrological compatibility or future with this guy as a substitute for in-person time together. A soul connection doesn't mean that the truth of the relationship isn't about daily, real-life interaction.

Often, there's a reason that two people haven't hooked up...if both are crazy about each other and feel an intense soulmate connect, you want to be together, right? There's a reason that even though you knew Jason all the way back in 1996, you got engaged to some other guy, instead of saying to yourself, "Jason is my soulmate, and I've always loved him, so I'm not going to get engaged to some other guy."

At times of great hurt/vulnerability, sometimes we channel all of our romantic feelings to a new (or familiar) guy, so that we feel upbeat and don't dwell on the one who hurt us. That's fine, but it can lead to projection. To avoid that risk, go hang out with Jason, now, TODAY! Don't focus on your dreams about him (in which he represents a wonderful man who loves you who is not your heartbreaking fiance, but they might not be about the real Jason), or analyze his emails and texts, or check out your synastry. Have a nice meal together, ask him about his life right now, and see what it's like to kiss him, touch him, talk with him, cuddle him and be around him.
