Can we see who we are by asking a reading?

Can we insight into our own spirit if we cant counsciously know it,by the cards?

If so,what do they tell me?

An astrology reading can tell you how style of your thinking, feeling and behaving. It can point to the things that make us happy or sad, angry or afraid.
It can not tell us about the soul. Even when reading a chart you really can't always tell the manner a particular will manifest. For example: if someone needs to learn to let go in love, to give others freedom. In one person this may take the form of loss, because they don't have the self realization to work on letting go. In another person, who is more relective and consciously trys to evolve, they may simply allow freedom even though it goes against what they feel.
The planets show what we are given to work with, how we work with it is more difficult to tell.
It can also point to things that are left over to deal with from past lives-- if you believe in that. If you don't, it shows what is at work at an unconscious level.
