I'm in need of advice and guidance about a personal relationship.

What is going on with each of us?

Most importantly, what should I do next? What changes should I make? What should I know that I don't?

Many thanks to anyone who helps! Intuitive/cards/whatever. I am deliberately not giving a lot of information, because as a writer I tend to be very persuasive with MY view or perception of situations...I want to see if someome comes up with more spontaneous insights.

Thanks and love to all here.

I asked the cards what is going on with you guys? and got this:

past/present/future

1. the fool:The Fool is the card without a number. It usually is positioned at the beginning of the major arcana but can be either at the beginning or the end as it depicts our learning experience through life from beginning to end. The Fool signifies one's potential and abilities. Embarking on his journey toward self-knowledge, the Fool is at the same time adventurous and fearful, seemingly open to all possibilities, yet apparently unaware of the dangers along the way. Irrational impulses, foolishness, and poor judgment are some of the negative aspects of this card. At the end of his journey the Fool has learned life's lessons and is aware of his place in the world and in one with himself.

2. the chariot/reversed:The Chariot
Astrological Correspondence: Cancer
Keywords: victory, (material) success, mastery, graduation, completion
Description: The Chariot symbolizes enthusiasm, competitiveness, and triumph.
Success and victory are achieved by employing all powers at his disposal, physical, spiritual, and intellectual. The positive sides of the self, being strong and self-controlled, balancing conflicting emotions, triumphing over obstacles, and sustaining an effort, support attaining goals, thereby leading the way to transformation and self-knowledge. A dictatorial approach, recklessness, and extreme ambition can be on the other, negative, side of the equation.

3. judgment/reversed: judgment:XX - The Judgement
Astrological Correspondence: Pluto
Keywords: judgment, resurrection, healing, music, good news, revelation
Description: The Judgement card represents the judgment day or awakening call heralding a rite of passage. As one cycle comes to an end we need to prepare for a new stage in our development, the future is waiting. Now is the time when past efforts yield positive results, when we can reap the rewards, when we realize that we are drawn in a new direction and recognize our true calling. In it's positive meaning The Judgement card reminds us that through honesty and true reflection we can realize where we have erred on our path and that we need to forgive ourselves to regain a feeling of self-worth and accomplishment. Placed in a negative situation The Judgement symbolizes indecision, a fear of letting go, remorse, regret, and imbalance, imprisonment.

I get a sense from the cards that youve gone thru a lot with this person in regards of having a relationship. maybe hes a difficult person to get thru to. theres a sense of struggle in the past that feels uncomfortable. with the chariot in the present maybe things feel like theyre moving along the right way but being reversed tells me not all is at it seems. future tells me decisions are going to be made, and you or him are going to go thru a process of deciding what to do next about the future of this relationship. when i see this card i feel its meaning is critical evaluation.
anyway, i hope this made sense or helped in some way. good luck.

Thanks, Writesomething...that all makes a lot of sense. There's a lot of really complicated energy happening here, and I can definitely see how The ChariotR and JudgmentR would come into play. I'm wondering who will do what.

Do you think I should just sit and see what unfolds? Or take some kind of bold action to clarify things?

Thanks so much for helping me think this out.

my first feeling i felt when you said that was mixed. i got a very weird feeling. instinct was to sit but it doesnt seem that easy...then felt you should take action and then disappear for awhile...dont know if that even makes sense.
so i did a spread of cards to see what they'd say to your question and i got:

1. the hierophant: The Hierophant card has so many Popish trappings that it is sometimes hard for readers to like him, or interpret him as positive rather than seeing his potential for being unreasonable, hide-bound, literal and stodgy. I like to point out the decks where the Hierophant is the Oracle at Delphi or some other less loaded image.

When the Hierophant appears as a person, he's likely an old, favored teacher, therapist, counsellor, advisor, or sponsor. That young Priest with progressive ideas, or the old Rabbi who was always so down to earth and fun, or maybe an uncle who always offered such common sense advice. Unfortunately, he can also represent that nasty teacher the Querent is dealing with, the one who refuses to deviate from the text book, or a sour-faced elder who wants to keep the church old fashioned and in the dark ages.

Standing for the Querent himself, the Hierophant might well warn against being too stubborn, especially in matters of theology or ethics. He can remind the Querent what it means to be a good and beloved teacher. In this, the Hierophant can be very positive. When things are going very wrong in the world, the Hierophant is the one who wades in, quiets the panic, and offers good, practical advice. He symbolizes a connection to the divine, which answers with a very human voice, never oblique or mysterious. You know how to solve your problem, this card says; it is not easy, not a quick fix, but it is do-able. The solution is there, you've only to bring it down to Earth.

2. the magician:
The Magician Astrological Correspondence: Mercury
Keywords: work, new beginnings, activity, overwork
Description: As the archetype of the masculine principle, the Magician represents someone who is able to achieve his goals through his creative abilities and his skills in using the tools available to him. The Magician symbolizes the beginning of something when everything is possible. It can be a start of a new relationship, the birth of a new idea or creative project, or a financial strategy. The Magician is a confident person realizing his full potential by taking positive action and focusing his attention and energies to the task at hand.
This includes employing magic. On the negative side the Magician represents egotism, treachery, and overconfidence, thereby misleading others into making wrong choices.
3. the high priestess:
The High Priestess
Astrological Correspondence: The Moon
Keywords: receptivity, passivity, potential, knowledge, secrets, something about to arrive
Description: The mysterious High Priestess jealously guards her secrets and occult wisdom. This card symbolizes the unconscious, a concern with our internal worlds, spiritual forces, and the understanding of higher truths through dreams and intuition. As a wise woman the High Priestess is the Goddess of fertility and is seen as a healer, possessing intuitive powers, and clairvoyance, trying to create harmony and inner balance. She emphasizes the necessity to get in contact with our inner self, to reflect and meditate, to trust our feelings, and to let dreams and intuition guide us. Observing rather than participating or acting the High Priestess can also represent platonic love, manipulation, a pause in a process that was progressing or even a standstill, causing doubt and confusion.

the high priestess makes me feel like you need to rise above this, and be classy and quiet in regards to what you need to do. dignity sticks out with this card. keeping one's dignity.

i hope this helped and made sense, i hope it all works out.

Thanks!!

Dignity. Makes so much sense. My challenge, as a Leo Sun/Cancer Moon-Venus-Saturn, Cap Rising, is to find a way to be dignified without creating a big ice wall between my sunniness and other people.
