that's an extreeeemely challenging t-square but why don't you do 2009 first? this one is for next year's birthday? and might look different when you've gone through the coming year...

Most people's SR's for that year look scary because of the way the outer planets are configured all year.

Well, I've just started trying to learn to read a Solar Return chart...but, re: your 2010 chart, Cafe Astrology says some great things about having your SR Ascendent in Leo. Romantic adventures, heightened creativity, and lots of people apparently have a child in a year where their SR Asc is in Leo.

In their guide, the most important things to look at include the sign of the Solar Return Ascendent, and the house in your natal chart that the Solar Return Ascendent falls into. I don't know where in your natal your SR ASC falls, but that house represents a major focus for the year.
