Recently my Mom went to a psychic, and she told my Mom that there is danger and evil where I work...

I work at a bar, one of the bartenders had her throat slit and was robbed some years ago.
The owner was robbed and beaten at gunpoint six months ago, and is now unable to work.

I find the job tolerable, except for the fact that my boss is INCREDIBLY insistant on giving me tons of hours that I don't want. He's also on the borderline of sexual harassment towards me. I know all this screams I should quit, but, I really need the job, and it's easy to get black balled in this town. In other words, if I quit and look for another job, when the future exployer contacts this employer, I would get a bad reference. I know the law says you are not allowed to defame a person, but it's done all the time in this business, and there isn't much to be done about it, because we are paid in cash, so, technically, we don't exist.

I feel a powerful urge to forge forward in this job, and not repeat my past of quitting when the going gets tough.

The psychic told my Mom that I will either quit or be fired, and I will find something much better suited for me. IDK about that. Not many places are hiring.

My boss was born on May 13, 1953, Dayton Ohio Time unknown.

I was born Dec 6. 1966 2:40 pm, Fort Knox, Kentucy. (Actually, I was born in Elizabethtown, but it never shows up as an option, and Fort Knox is very close)

Anyway, any insights would be greatly appreciated. I am finding this to be a stressful situation.

*ETA- Actually, when I work my regular shifts, I'm NOT stressed at all, it's the fact that he put me on Karoake nights that I hate. I'm upset all day before work. I have NO help behind the bar, and I ring anywhere from 700-1,000 dollars in drink sales, BY MYSELF, it's exhausting! When I tell my boss I want the "dead" shifts, he gets mad and lectures me on why I should want the other shifts, and we just go 'round and 'round and get nowhere!!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can add any imput!

Hello GypseeWind,

I would not use the word evil but looking at your chart I do see a strong pattern suggesting difficult issues at your place of employment or with employees/work colleagues that could affect your health greatly. And yes, the pattern could suggest a strong possiblity of danger.

Transiting Saturn is currently approaching your natal Mars. When transiting Saturn connects to Mars so stressfully it can suggest a strong energy stoppage. With Mars and Saturn together it can suggest many things, authority and energy, hot and cold.

Mars rules your 1st House Health Center. The transit could simply show up as a severe case of exhaustion or worse. What I don't like is that this really could affect your health being anything from a cold to broken bones. Saturn rules your 10th House of Career. These 2 planets relating to each other can affect work and health, especially since it will occur in your 6th house of The Work Place.

Now, I urge you to read your original post over again and look at the reasons for why you stay in your job DESPITE what I've said or your mother's psychic said. What I'm hearing is that it's just plain difficult to begin a job search and that it's easier to remain where you are because you're settled in and used to what you do. But you have explained that there is a significant amount of danger, disrespect, and persuasion for you to do things that exhaust you in order to please someone else (and for the money, which is understandable). But I think the Universe is giving you STRONG SIGNALS that it's time to go. The signals from the psychic, from me and even your own knowledge.

I remember that Oprah Winfrey says that the Universe sends us signals about situations by throwing little pebbles at us. When we don't get it from the pebbles, he starts to throw rocks, then he starts throwing bricks.

Well, consider that your mother's psychic just dropped a piano on your head and that I just dropped 18 ANVILS on your head in regard to this situation.

Remember that we do all of these prognostication arts in order to be forwarned so we can be for armed for the future.

Consider that you've been severely forwarned.

I want to mention that after transiting Saturn moves over your natal Mars, it will approach your natal Moon. Often this feels like a depressing time BUT I want you to remember that it is also a time of TREMENDOUS AMBITION AND PLANNING! There's a reason why it feels depressing or our emotions just feel cold at that time. It's a tool, Saturn is a tool that we use for strategy, organization, planning and discipline. We may need to tone down our emotions at times like that, we become more business-like in order to get things done.

My highest suggestion is that you mourn the loss of this job while gearing up for your job search. THERE ARE JOBS OUT THERE! Stop listening to the news and jump into the pool of life. Put yourself in a safe place, this place is no longer for you and the Universe is trying to communicate that to you.

Jupiter is traveling through your 12th House now, that is a "Guardian Angel" measurement. We are always guided but this is a pretty special time of guidance, please let Jupiter help you out.

Jupiter is opposing your Mars right now but will soon get very close to your Moon in the next 2 months. That's a great place for your Moon to be. The Universe is supporting you grandly. It's also a great time to look for work as transiting Mars is getting closer to your natal Mars. Mars is work. The Moon is work. Saturn is work. All 3 of those planets have a strong connection to employment and it's just a very good season for you to be looking for new work.

Take advantage of this time. The Universe wants success for you and is DEFINITELY opening the way for you.

The transiting Saturn conjunct natal Mars that's rapidly coming up does NOT have to mean bad health or danger, it can suggest the act of building, construction, precise movement (such as a surgeon having excellent focus). Allow that measurement to be the focusing of energy, the precision of movement or planning your movement. Planning your move away from this job to a new job.

Good luck and let me know if any of this feels right to you.

Dear Geo;
I have read your response, and.. I'm just so emotional about the whole subject, that I haven't been able to formulate a proper response. I am off work today, and I will respond when my head is on straight.

But from the bottom of my heart, I say for now.. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! You are a special person.

Hey Sweetie,

I'm in the same boat in one respect. When things are NEW and DIFFERENT it frightens us. I'm looking at the Wild West of job searches, too, right now and don't know what I want to do. Take your time and allow yourself to be gently lead by your Higher Power who is benevolent and has wonderful things to show you.

I'm trying to take my own advice as well. Take your time responding, I'm just glad to know that you saw the response.

This video will either make you laugh or make you feel worse. I hope it makes you laugh because it's got great advice. It's for the song "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers:

Take good care,

After reading this over and over, and pondering the subject in my brain for days, I think I've come to the conclusion that I feel like quitting the job is in a sense, the same as admitting failure or defeat.

This sort of thing happens to me all the time with jobs, it's like if it's not one thing it's the other. I have to wonder if it's me? I'm the common denominator. Some of the jobs I've quit in the past, were NOT THAT BAD in hindsight, and I regret leaving them based on some temporary emotion or a snap decision made during a time of sheer exhaustion.

I experience that alot, the exhaustion thing.

I guess what I'm saying is, when I got the job about 7 weeks ago, I put it in my head that I was NOT going to repeat past patterns, and I was going to suck it up like everyone else in the working world does.

I see people keep jobs for years, and I envy their drive, determination, and perserverence very much. I want so much to have these qualities in myself.

I keep eyeing the part, Geo, where you talked about my Moon, and Jupiter and that in the next two months it will be a good time to pursue job hunting.
I have a feeling, just a feeling mind you, that I may be hired out by someone else, while I'm working where I am.
What I mean by that is... Alot of times bar owners will go to other bars, (or they will send their managers, whatever) and look for help. They will watch you while you work, because really, what better way to see your skills? You can say anything you want on paper, but seeing you in action is the best way to determine how fast you are, how friendly, if you drink on the job (I don't) etc..

This sort of scouting thing has happened to me before, and that is how I've gotten other jobs. I might add that I do not have a car, and this particular jobs hours concur with someone else's job hours, so I'm able to get rides every time I work.

I guess this sounds like I am procrastinating. In a way, that is true.

But, in theme with listening to the universe, I'll give you an example...

There is a place not too far down the road from this job, and they had a sign up saying they were hiring. Two ex-employees of my current job went there to work. I was going to stop in one morning last week, and grab an application, when, coincidently, or not, the night before I was at MY job, and a lady was reading the local newspaper...

She was reading the Police Blotter section, which, tells the names of all people that were arrested that week, and why they were arrested. She said outloud, to nobody in particular, "Oh, wow, Mr. XYZ, that owns The Whatever Club, was arrested yesterday for soliciting prostitution!!"

Over the next few days I heard stories of his employees walking out. I heard that he threw a drink in the face of one of his bartenders. I heard aLOT of stuff, and my point is...
had I went there and applied, I might of gotten the job, ok, I would of gotten the job, and look what I would of gotten myself into! See what I mean?

This is a seedy business, and there just isn't any "pretty-ing" it up.
I'm sure that some part of me is drawn to that aspect of it, but mostly I do it because I feel like I'm doing a service.
That service is befriending the lonely, the widowed, the 'Out-There' folks.

I try and give each person I wait on a smile, a compliment, something, anything they can take with them to feel better about their circumstances. It might sound dopey, but I feel it's a calling of mine.

Ok, now I'm rambling. I guess the bottom line is that I'm going to give it a few weeks and see what happens. I hope nothing bad happens to me, and I hope something better comes along.

I'll be watching for signs.

Thank You so much Geo, and good luck in your own job search. I'll say a prayer for you.

*Thanks Wink, I appreciate what you said, and glad you are reading whether or not you have an answer, it's nice to call you a friend.

Hi GypseeWind,

I just want you to be safe, as does your mother and that psychic. There are a million ways that the symbols can play out and it's really all about free will and how we create our own reality. Be safe, sweet.

Thank you, Geo. I will try to be as safe as I can.

I REALLY appreciate you reading for me, and if there is ANYTHING, anything at all I can ever do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. xoxoxoxoxoxox. God Bless!!

ETA: GEO! I can't believe I forgot this part, but the psychic told my Mom that I have this Guardian angel, her name is Elizabeth, who is with me, and has been my whole life. The psychic said I believe in Angels, but I don't necessarily use them to my advantage. So, I've been working on opening up to Elizabeth. I write to her, and talk to her alot.

I added that because I re-read the part where you said that I had a 'Guardian Angel' transit right now, or something like that, and how weird you'd mention that when the psychic said that same thing. *She asked for no birth data by the way!!!*

Aaahhh, to be a psychic and not have to worry about birth times. It's a luxury professional astrologers don't quite have. You can still get strong information from a chart without the birth time, but it jet fuels your consultation when you have the correct time.

I'm so glad to hear about Elizabeth, that's so cool.

Well, in case anyone ever doubts Ms. Valentine, read the above and know that I have come down with a cold, a yucky one.

She said that!

I also wanted to add that LAST night, which was two days after my last post, I think? A gal came into the bar, and told me her bar was hiring, Mon-Fri, 6am-1pm. Perfect hours for me, I'de be home when my kids get home! I'de have weekends off! Yes, I'm gonna apply, but strangely enough, my boss had a heart attack Friday, he's in pretty bad shape, and now I feel so guilty for thinking of leaving.

Feel free to smack me, someone? Anyone?

xoxo.

SMACK!!!

Well, you asked for it!
But I do trust your feelings so much. You are so amazing when it comes to being tuned in, my love, I would trust your advise with my life, so... trust yourself as I trust you. You never gave me the wrong advise (yet!).

Oh my God! A cold? And your boss had a heart attack?

Well, that's quite interesting. See what I said about free will. The 6th House energy seems to have manifested itself as two different things.

1. The 6th House is the house of acute health issues, such as a cold.

2. The 6th House also suggests employees as well as the work place for yourself.

The transit seems to be expressing your cold and your boss' health as well. His heart attack. That truly expresses the brutal energy of a transiting Saturn across Mars.

Back in 2008, I had a similar transit. Transiting Saturn crossed my natal Pluto. Pluto rules my 6th House. I was afraid someone I knew and loved would die (that's the extreme), what ended up happening is my boss' brother died from Cancer.

The transit happened 3 times. During the retrograde nothing happened but during the 3rd pass I was in another job and the woman I worked for was caretaking her 100 year old grandmother and she was having great difficulties finding a suitable nursing home for her. After she found one, her grandmother died right when Saturn was on my Pluto. The woman is the same age as me and although I don't have her birth time, I'm sure Pluto ruled a house that would suggest someone closer to her would be lost to her.

So, yes. Thank God it wasn't something worse. Maybe the "evil energy" the psychic was talking about was a cold virus hanging around the bar somehow, or just that you caught a really bad cold from someone. Isn't that fascinating?

Well, you take good care and use Starkisses SMACK to good healing use. Feel better soon.

I'm really freaking now.

My boss was due to have a catheter put in his arteries today.

They found so many other collapsed arteries when they were in there, they couldn't fix him! I mean they said, he isn't even a canidate for bypass surgery because he would die on the table, as he would have NO arteries carrying any blood to his brain.

They said "take him home, he's not going to make it!"

I'm just so shocked! I mean, he was a pain in my butt, but not a bad guy or anything!

I fear he will leave during the eclipse, and the thing is now.. I feel WAAAAY too guilty to quit while his wife, the owner is in such a bind!

Remember I said she was robbed and beaten six months ago, and she can't work!!

Her first husband of 30 years died of heart failure, IN HER ARMS!! She is a Cancer lady, and well... she just isn't doing very well!!

I think I should stay for awhile, and help however I can. My conscious won't allow for anything else.

Wow. I can't wait to look back on this and see what my lesson was!!!

Gyps, look at it this way.

The man (not a bad guy, sure thing) is out of your way, let's say for a while.

Meaning he is not going to sexually harass you any more or bully you into working overtime.

He is out of your hair for now.

GypseeWind,

How awfully sad. God bless him and his wife.

As bad as things look for them now, including the business, you must keep your eye on that other opportunity. It's not just for you, it's for your child as well.

That's just an idea and an opinion that I have.

Take good care,

Wow Gypsee...

I really feel for you to have such hard times to deal with.
But I do agree with Geo that if you choose to be there to help your boss's wife, that's great.. you're an awesome person for that.
But also don't cheat yourself out of a wonderful opportunity with this other job.
Just my 2 cents.

And your angel sounds amazing. Elizabeth?
***WARNING..CRAZY STORY COMING UP***
When I was pregnant with my twins, my ex monster in law told my ex that my daughter's middle name should be Elizabeth. She said that she had a psychic feeling that this should be her middle name. I rolled my eyes at this (as I still do) and so mode it be, that's her middle name lol. And my ex monster in law is a lil loonie btw.
Sorry, didn't mean to change that there...

Just take care of yourself...quite literally sweets

Well.... an update for those who might be interested... Geo, I know you like to hear how things play out for your research purposes..

Ok, WELL, turns out that the girl who came in to tell me about that other job, was an ex disgruntled employee of where I work!
She knew that if she made up a bogus job at a really nice place, and I went there, MY bosses would find out, and I would more than likely be fired, and then she could possibly have a shot at her job back!

Sneaky huh?
Told you guys this was a seedy business!!

So, I'm glad I didn't go!

Anyway, they released my boss from the hospital, and he is basically a ticking time bomb, so his wife, the owner, is going to be more involved with everything.
Which is great, she is so easy to get along with and to talk to about things.

She called me in the office and I just told her how I felt about all the hours, and how much I hated working karaoke night.
She then told me that they were changing the hours of operation all around anyway, and letting go of another girl, plus the girl that got married.

So, she said, "pick your hours, now is your chance, you have been there whenever I needed you, and you have never said no, so, now you get first choice."

So, I chose Sunday thru Wednesday.

That relieves me of the dreaded karaoke nights, plus gives me the weekend to spend with the kids.

Then in a few months when her sister goes in for her surgery, I can go on days, for 6 months. Or until her sister recovers, which they estimate to be about six months.

Strange how things turn out in the least way you expect, isn't it??
