I think I should've posted this in here.
From what I've read about the natal North Node, it seems to me that it represents an area of growth an development in one's chart. Always in polarity with the South Node, the North Node represents an area in which we can improve to attain the qualities of the South Node placement by house and sign. I've seen many associations between the South Node and past lives. I'm not so sure on this as I've never given much thought to reincarnation. I've also read that the South Node represents an area of innate strength that, when relied upon too often, furthers the karmic imbalance represented by the nodes.
The house and sign placements of my North Node were exceptionally enlightening to me but the South Node wasn't as clear. In any case, I've noticed a transiting stellium (since nearly everything is in Aries at the moment) occurring on May 15th, 2011. One of which is Venus, my natal North Node's ruling planet. I'm not sure what to make of this. I only know that lately it seems I've been running a gauntlet working toward the promise of some great achievement only to be met with myself and some disturbing sense of introspective at the end. Maybe I'm not understanding the reward at the time of reception but I learned many years ago not to look the gift horse in the mouth. I've paged through Linda Land and a few other sites for more thoughts on the natal Nodes and transits to them and I've found myself wanting (surprise, surprise).
Would any of you be willing to share your thoughts/experiences with your Nodes, both natal and transiting, as well as transits to your natal nodes? My solar return promised a specifically dynamic year in 2011 and I'm beginning to feel a low rumble.
