Hey everyone,

So I was reading about yods in the Astrology of Royal Weddings Series. The series was really interesting. You should definitely check it out! There's a link and a thread about it on the Astrology 2.0 forum.

Anyways, I think I noticed that I have two nods in the composite chart of myself and a certain guy.

Definition of a Yod from wikipedia:

quote:

In astrology a yod is said to form whenever one planet forms quincunxes (150° aspects) to another two planets that are separated by only a sextile (60° aspect). If each point of the yod were traced across an astrological chart it would appear as a "Y" shape on any axis.

Notes about the chart: I have my time of birth, but not his.

I think the chart has the following yods: Pluto in quincux with Sun and Moon and Pluto in quincux with Sun and Jupiter. If you can let me know if the yods are really there or give me an interpretation of what they mean I'd really appreciate it. I'd also love to know if you've had any experiences with Yods.

Actually it looks like 3 yods.

The first one is pluto sextile neptune to Sun.
The second is sun sextile moon to pluto
The third is sun sextile jupiter to pluto.

I don't know much about yods but configurations generally in syanstries and composites speak to me of great energy and great fate. I have a cradle in composite with a friend of mine. I knew when I met her and again after I saw the composite that we would become close friends and have a very supportive relationship. We 'seperated' for some time and have recently reconciled and it was just nice knowing that I was always on her mind, that she didn't just forget about me and that we could pick up where we left off.

I've had a grand trine in synastry twice with the opposite sex and it was very intense instant attraction. As in it didn't feel casual from the beginning.

My point is that configurations in charts seem to denote something very important, it may not be forever but it will have a strong impact on you.

Thanks littlecloud! You're right. Can't believe I missed it!

So I thought I would take a look at the synastry too for configurations. I'm thinking I see two grand water trines, one where his planet completes my trines and vice versa. I think I see his jupiter trining with my pluto and mercury. And my mercury trining with his pluto and jupiter. Can anyone confirm this? Do you guys have any idea what this means or has had experience with grand trines in synastry?

I also think I see another aspect pattern between our Neptunes/his mars, our Plutos, my mercury and his venus? Maybe a mystic rectangle?

I'm so excited to hear what you guys think about this!
