I've had good claivoyance this last week so going to give it a whirl.

First 10 people who want, I will tell them at least one totem of theirs or however many show up (provided extra show up that I can see it). I may take up to two weeks to get back to your on your totem.

Just keep in mind we have many totems and some come and go in and out of your life while others are permanent. If any details come up I'll try to tell you, and I will try to get specific species down to whether it's a barn owl or screech owl if at all possible.

For people unfamiliar with totems, everyone is assigned an animal totem just like they're assigned an angel. Frequently the attributes rub off on the person and it provides protection and can even grant psychic abilities like increased clairvoyance or clairaudience. They also tend to show up randomly in your life. Of the last 3 people I have given totem readings two, two had one show up in their house prior to my giving the reading (a hummingbird living in the guys house to a scorpion) and another had it show up in his dreams the night after. I also do believe in mythological totems so you may not get an animal.

Okay.. that's 11.. said I'd do 10. Going to finish up rajji's (want to make sure on species).

(and of course I'll do your abcd efg.. it just may take a while)

Some totems might repeat themselves a lot. I find a lot of people have butterfly totems right now.

Rajji, I kept trying to make sure I got the right species and more totems popped up so you got a bunch.

great horned owl

lion
http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/lion.htm

puffin
http://groupbox.com/ViewTopic.aspx?&iTopicID=sVHWz8QglMY-&iGroupID=h0oxdLV/UzY-

butterfly
metamorphosis and transformation

Scientific research has shown that the butterfly is the only living being capable of changing entirely its genetic structure during the process of transformation: the caterpillar's DNA is totally different from the butterfly's. Thus, it is the symbol of total transformation. Butterfly represents a need for change and greater freedom, and at the same time it represents courage: one requires courage to carry out the changes necessary in the process of growth. Its Medicine is related to the air and the mental powers. It teaches us to find clarity in the mental processes, to organize projects or to figure out the next step in our internal growth. If Butterfly is your Power Animal or if you feel in any way attracted to it, this means you are ready to undergo some kind of transformation. Examine which stage calls your attention the most: the egg is the beginning, the birth of some project or idea. The larva is de decision to manifest something in the physical world. The cocoon has to do with "going inside", either through insight or the development of the project or idea. The breaking of the cocoon deals with sharing the splendor of your creation with the whole world. Once you understand the stage you are on, you can discover which is the next step.

rabbit
fear, timidity, nervousness, humility

Rabbit's medicine includes moving through fear, living by one's own wits, receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages, quick thinking, strengthening intuition, and paradox. Rabbit also represents humility, because he is quiet and soft and not self-asserting. Rabbit reminds us not to be afraid. Fearful thoughts reproduce (like rabbits) and bring the very thing we fear. Rabbit people are so afraid of tragedy, illness, and disaster, that they call those very fears to them to teach them lessons. If you see Rabbit or in any way feel attracted to him, it may be telling you to wait for the forces of the universe to start moving again, to stop worrying and to get rid of your fears. It always indicates a need to re-evaluate the process you are undergoing, to rid yourself of any negative feelings or barriers, and to be more humble.

(it's horns looked like the buffalo here.. http://blogs.bootsnall.com/Chuck/files/2008/01/Copy_of_YellowBilledOxPecker-1.jpg)
The Wild Ox Totem indicates beauty and strength, sacrifice. This animal has long been associated with the ability to learn new things. The Wild Ox is a very intelligent animal and they were domesticated because they could be easily taught to take on farming tasks that took other animals too long to accomplish. They are also legendary for their amazing strength and endurance. Paul Bunyan’s companion was Babe the Blue Ox.

The Enduring Wild Ox Totem possesses the following virtues:
Beauty, strength, sacrifice, friendship, intelligence, ability to learn and absorb new information well, patience, endurance, cooperation and hard work.

squirrel http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/squirrel.htm

pheasant http://www.whats-your-sign.com/animal-symbolism-pheasant.html

Going to call it a night. I might get one or two in tomorrow..

Dear Mochai,

wow i didn't know there were so many, and OMG some of them made me cry, the OX totem is dead on for right know, sacrificed a lot, i definitly need to call on endurance & strenghth at this point in my life since these have been my companians for the last 5 hellish years ...

Funny thing i purchased a beautiful bag last month and did not notice until i came home that it had a giant TIGER HEAD (exactly like the tiger in your link) on the other side, very cunningly drawn on it & then i thought to myself now why the hack would i buy something with a tigers head on it, but i guess IT came to me, when i saw the bag i just had to have it, i've been carrying it since, i luv it!

Snail came to me literally half a year ago when i lost my job, i was doing a late night meditation on my front porch and this little critter came to my foot, now that never happend before...i immediatly thought how strange at this moment when i was so open & what is it trying to tell me ...

I have a childhood affinity for elephants (specially baby elephants), my dad (passed away a few years ago) used to take me to circus performances, that is how my dad and i bonded, and i would take pictures with them, so eventhough my dad is gone, i think about him a lot these days,so i see why you are picking up on this elephant energy :'(...

Butterfly...well that is selfexplanatory to me, just so me right now, a complete almost opposite change from the person i used to be, this has been harrowing and scary and more painful than anything i have experienced, it's like i am changed forever, who is this person, do i like her, i don't know how to be her???

The squirrel and pheasant are new to me, but their messages and energy also fit all to well...and i am sure will reveal themselves to me evenmore now!

I thought for sure crows and ants would come up for me since these i have been seeing like crazy, crows nesting in my backyard, its like they're everywhere i go, constantly watching me

Sorry for the long post, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for this reading...you are truly very talented...take care (((<3))) Minna

It's no problem. I did see another bird come up, but it wasn't easy to see and couldn't make out the type. You have many totems so that is a possibility

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still very new to giving totem readings

I'll see how I'm handling these totem readings at the end and see what I can do. I've been wanting to do these for a while, it's just a question of kundalini and what I can handle. Kundalini can make it hard to gauge certain things..

Btw, to anyone I'm giving these readings too.. you can also look into the animal's behaviors and habitat/predators for more info. Some have deep symbolism or myths around like and are revered in many shamanic traditions.

Venia,

squirrel
(this one popped up a lot for you)
http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/squirrel.htm

white rhino http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/rhinoceros.htm

stegasaurus, triceratops, ankylosaurus
extinct totems come up sometimes, I'd look into what we know about these dinosaurs and their habitat and predators for clues.. you may have had more from the jurassic period

Chimpanzee
reminds us to live in harmony. Chimpanzees are close to humans on the evolutionary scale, and the medicine of this animal can help to restore to us the simple ways of life that create joy. Chimpanzee medicine can nurture in us playfulness, curiosity, and self expression. They teach us about living in a community and being part of the group and family, taking care of one another.

Gorrilla http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/gorilla.htm

Brown Bear http://www.linsdomain.com/totems/pages/bear.htm

zebra
teaches us the beauty in individuality. The zebra's distinctive stripes serves as a protective camouflage against predators, who are often unable to pick an individual out from the herd. For herd members, the stripe patterns, unique to each zebra, have the opposite effect of helping to identify individual zebras. This power animal thus helps us to both maintain our individuality in group settings and helps us to be supportive members of our communities. A third spiritual meaning for the stripes has to do with the integration of opposites, thus enabling us to see a deeper truth.

Snake
(I'm guessing your shadow totem moreso if you are or have been afraid of it) http://wolfs_moon.tripod.com/Shadowsnake.html

And I'll try to get another two done by sunday, but may not get any tomorrow.

Mintgirl, I would love to, but at this rate I most likely can't. In a couple months I may do this again.

Another option is looking at the native american zodiac for a totem. I have found those to be accurate for totems both the directional and the month animal. http://www.xtraastrology.com/native_american_astrology/native_american_totems.html

If you have a favorite animal that is most likely a totem, or say you had one as a child that was most likely a totem at that time period and may continue to be one now. For example, I loved wolves and great white sharks as a kid, and the wolf continues to be a totem (albeit one that comes up much less frequently) and the shark has never appeared clairvoyantly and I think was only there during a trying period in my life. I've always loved foxes and tigers and those are still prominent totems for me . Also animals that appear in an unlikely manner or pop up on items that you feel like purchasing or purchase are likely totems (as in Minna's case). Foxes and butterflies have made an unusual appearance for me and owls have made their way onto my messenger bag (this happening when I was an atheist). When I was a child I was afraid of snakes and they still make me uncomfortable which I know to be my shadow totem. As strange as this sounds, if you had a wild animal attack you.. lets say a cougar or snake, that is likely a totem. It is common for some powerful totems to attack you as a sort of test. People chosen as shaman will even have their totems turn on them and devour them in the astral realm and rebuild them as the shaman mythos describes.

If you like a totem and really want it, they do respond to flattery. If you start buying penguin stuff everywhere and leave out offerings that the penguin totem likes or donate to the right charity, you may attract that totem's energy, or say you need it during a cycle in your life. Some however like the grizzily totem when they come to you are lifelong totems and so they might be a little picky.

I know time wise I spent about the time it takes to do a clairvoyant reading for you in this response, but suffice it to say the situation is more complex than that and this was a bit easier to do .
