I feel like I have a reasonably good handle on planets and houses. But I'm still a little shaky where aspects are concerned. So I'm submitting my natal chart in the hopes that someone would kindly share their thoughts on the aspects I've got going on. Squares, trines, conjunctions.... lay it on me. Even general impressions are fine. I appreciate honesty because it's so difficult to look objectively at one's own chart. I thank you in advance and would be extremely grateful to anyone who took the time to look this over.

You have NN opposite Mars. This may make your drive going in the opposite direction of your true purpose/higher meaning for your life? That is just one aspect, obviously, but does it ring a bell?------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . Wow, yeah! This is exactly the kind of insight I was hoping for! To be honest, the NN is an area of my chart that I tend to neglect. I always thought of it hanging out by itself because I was more concerned about Mars in relation to Saturn & Pluto. Actually you completely nailed it. I have a pretty strong work ethic but I'm not at all satisfied with my career or work life. I do tend to take jobs that are "safe" rather than satisfying. Even though I work hard I don't feel particularly committed to what I'm doing. Sorry if this sounds whiny but you have given me a bit of a lightbulb moment. Thank you! IP: Logged |

You have had a really unstable home environment, a somewhat unstable tendency to waver back and forth. You kinda fear commitment in a way, though at the same time you crave it. You are very intense, and need constant communication/ stimulation in that sense. You kinda keep your emotions hidden. There's a slight conflict of how you present yourself to the world and how you express emotions. You are quite optimistic and probably attractive in a dark kinda way. You are generous and what you want most of all is loyalty. Am I right? IP: Logged |

Awesome I am glad I could help. I will look it over some more and tell you what I think. You tell me if I am right!------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung You must lose your life for My sake in order to find it . Psychologically, I would describe my home life as very stable. But physically, I was uprooted and moved around a lot as a kid (my parents were sorta rolling stones). I did and do struggle with being "the new kid". quote: You kinda fear commitment in a way, though at the same time you crave it.
This is very true. quote: You are very intense, and need constant communication/ stimulation in that sense.
I stopped and thought about this one for a long time. In all honesty, I find it difficult to objectively judge myself one way or the other. I don't know where I rank on the "intense" scale. What others might see as intense feels normal to me, you know? But I don't think you're off-base with this. quote: You kinda keep your emotions hidden.
Always have. My mom remarked on this even when I was a child. quote: There's a slight conflict of how you present yourself to the world and how you express emotions.
I would say this is true. quote: You are quite optimistic and probably attractive in a dark kinda way. You are generous and what you want most of all is loyalty.
Can't rate my own attractiveness But yes, I would say that at my core I am optimistic, I take pride in generosity and loyalty is a make-or-break issue for me. quote: Am I right?[/b]
You ain't wrong I'd love to know the answer key (which parts of my chart led to those assessments!). IP: Logged |

OK I will take one aspect Tell me what you think I will discuss all parts of it sign/house etcOk Moon in leo in the 12th It is 29 degree so has a sense of being stuck ,perhaps This degree can make one feel frozen with one foot in the past and one in the future but unable to move in the present The 12th house moon can have a simmering boiling type of anger too It feels it cannot express it's needs directly so it simmers Does this fit?

Saturn and Pluto in the 2nd make material needs a focal point for you.Do you have big ups and downs here. Are you forced to transform because of them. Also, do you learn life lessons from this part of life in a very slow and hard way? The moon sextiles this so your emotions will help steady you here. They will help you deal with these things Does that fit? IP: Logged |

Both very true!! I don't do well expressing anger "in the moment" at all. Which is good because I like that I can stay relatively clear-headed, but also extremely frustrating because I look back and wish I had expressed myself more. quote: Saturn and Pluto in the 2nd make material needs a focal point for you.Do you have big ups and downs here. Yes. I am really intimidated by money. I am kind of obsessive about my savings but then sometimes go and spend on stupid things (never to the point of financial ruin but... not really savvy either). I just hate thinking about finances, to be perfectly honest. I especially hate having discussions about money. I've been laid off twice (damn economy!) which has sort of kicked my ass in the direction of thinking about these things more... quote: The moon sextiles this so your emotions will help steady you here. I actually never thought about the Moon's influence, not directly like that anyway. I think that is also very true... as much as I was complaining about the money stuff above, I don't feel like I've hit rock bottom panic mode at any point (knock on wood). This is why I'm glad I started the thread XD

Sat and Pluto in the 2rd Have material things been really up and down for you.Have you had to transform yourself by dealing with huge ups and downs in this area of life?Is everything you get in the material world really slow and you have to work really hard for it? Does this include self esteem? IP: Logged |
