I'm posting a couple of synastry charts, one is for me and an ex boyfriend I broke up with a few months back, lately he kept telling me he wanted to have another go with our relationship, problem is I'm not so sure I want to, I still love him but during our break up I sort of liked someone else, and I'm posting another chart between me and this new friend.. what I wish to know is should I go back with my ex or just move on with someone new?

with my ex

with my new friend

The new friend is the way to go in my opinion. But take it slowly

Hi chamomile,

I've only had a glance, and I'm no expert. I noticed in the first one his nessus is right on your mars, this is not very good according to ami who knows about that more than I do.

Also, his mars is on your saturn - which could be irritating - then your sturn squares his moon so no real happy healthy way to express that conjuncting irritation (the saturn does make a trine to his sun, which is good).

Then there's barely any aspects from eachothers venuses, so no real warm or nice likey-lovie feelings, they are in square signs too, so hard to find common interests. No warm aspects from each others Jupiters either. It's kind of like this around the whole chart - with the moon too.

It really may be a case of choosing the better of two bad ones. This may not be something you would like to hear, I'm sorry about that if so.

The new friend chart, at least there's a sextile from his jupiter to your venus, giving you some warm fuzzies, and a bit of romantic feelings from your neptune to his sun, but this is no way enough for a rewarding relationship I don't think (but how old are you?). There are issues I think there with his mars/saturn conjunct your pluto = big power struggles. Your moons are at least both in the same element, so there will be a larger rapport than the first chart.

I think you'd be better off friends with either - keep your options open, and make room so you may have the space to choose more loving attractions. But then, you are young and it's good to learn and grow. These are difficult aspects though, maybe tread slowly with your eyes open?

This is just at a glance, I didn't look at house placements or anything. See what others have to say

thank you so much for that sass btw I used 12 noon for both charts cos I don't know their birth time, was that okay? should I pitch in composite charts as well?

btw I'm 33 almost 34 this september, so I'm not that young and I feel like I want to get married OR have a baby ASAP lol... but I know that's not gonna happen anytime soon

Oh chamomile, your aren't so young then, not that you're old either! (I'm 40)

It makes a differnce to me because, if you were like 18 or something, the time spent with either of these guys would be considered a learning experience, and character building(learning what not to do )

There is a lot of "grit" with both of these - which is fine and even good to have in a relationship, but I am speculating that here there is just too much. I really don't think that either of them are very good

I feel awful saying that, and I know I can have a tendency to speak my mind - and maybe too much, but, it's your life, you will of course do what you wish. Please know, I am no expert on astrology by any means, I am always learning.

Wait to see what others say, it will be interesting, we will both learn more. Oh and, I didn't look at house placements - a good thing if you don't know what time they are.

I hope you find someone lovely. At least you will hopefully look at these two with caution, and maybe keep your options open and not close off to other possibilities

well, the ex would be truly out of the picture now, I just learned that he had been unfaithful while we were dating. come to think of it, it's quite amazing how secrets can be easily revealed after a breakup
