But once I was immersing myself into the Duads/ Dwads, investigating Diandra`s and her twin`s chart. Not only their Duad chart was pretty different, but it illuminated their actual difference quite clearly. I am going to look for this thread.

Example:
Sagittarius:
00°00 - 2°30 Sagittarius Duad
2°30 - 5°00 Capricorn Duad
5°00 - 7°30 Aquarius Duad
and so forth

Aries would begin with Aries, Taurus with Taurus and so forth.

If you want to calculate the Duad of a certain planetary placement you first have to check in which sign it is. You check the Duad sign and see how many minutes the planet is into that particular Duad sign and divide it through 5, that is the exact position of your Duad position of that planet.

Example:
Sun: 25°55 Sagittarius

For Sagittarius the degrees 25°00 - 27°30 are in the LIBRA Duad.
25°55 is exactly 55 minutes from the beginning of that Duad, so I divide these 55 minutes through 5, which results into 11.
That is the exact placement of the Duad Sun. 11 Libra.

That is how it is done, and after that you check for the planets in houses, aspects as well as where the Duad planets conjunct the normal natal chart (according to Alice Portman).

I'll pipe up here with my thoughts

I have thought a little bit about the twin thing over the years, and I may be way off, but, this is my logic on the subjest so far. I offer my postulations here for consideration.

On this subject so far, it is my understanding that, the soul, or personal identity, has a drive to differentiate from it's environment. In the journey of knowing oneself as an individual, a person needs to assert him/her self in ways that are in difference to other people(or the environment in general). This is called individuating. One cannot know oneself as an individual if one simply blends into an environment. Therefore, it is my postulation that, in the twin situation, each twin will play out, or "own" different ends of the polarity of a characteristic (or different parts of a characteristic), that they obviously both possess, in order to differentiate themselves from eachother. It's the theory of relativity: We only know ourselves, and others only know who we are, in relation to those things that we are not.

This same things happens with siblings too, and even close friends. Or even, two people who are close, spending a lot of time together, who are the same suns sign.
