-the Sabian symbol for your Venus degree might shed some light. Mine is A NEW CONTINENT IS RISING OUT OF THE OCEAN. Kinda cool and hopeful, if I were to consider that I will ever get a proper grip on my unaspected Venus...
-your Venus persona chart. I don't know if you heard of persona charts, they're quite interesting. You can calculcate it on astro.com. You'll get a whole new chart, all about your Venus, it's like looking at it through a magnifying glass.
-last, but most helpful, at least for me, the dwad Venus. Dwad charts have been a huge revelation for me, especially since Venus rules my dwad Asc and is the apex of a T-cross formed by Sun-Pluto and Mars-Uranus.
-bonus: look at minor aspects, aspects made by antiscia or parallels. My Venus makes a lot of noviles, which makes my 9th harmonic chart very Venusian.

All these have helped me understand Venus a little bit better, at least how I tend to express it and why.

Regarding self-esteem... well, Venus is also associated with what you value and your personal value and sense of self-worth. People with unaspected Venus might sometimes feel they are unworthy of love and of being loved.

I want to believe that your unaspected is truly not unaspected but you can look for 5 seies aspects multiples of 18 degrees; 7 series multiples of 51 degree 25 or the nine series -multiples of 40 degrees.

You can also look at multiples of 22.5

If you really want to crunch numbers you could look at aspects to midpoints too.

Also an unaspected Venus can make you feel unloved or unloveable but I think your Scorpio Sun may also be responsible for any such feelings. SCorpios often feel unloved so I wonder if that contributes to esteem issues.

You have a quintile to MC and biquintile to Juno -These biquintile and quintile are extremely powerful more so than the 3 series (except the trine).

These aspects have a quality associated with Pluto with undertones of Mars and Venus

There can be difficulties with the inhibition of emotions, creativity and relationships with others. Part of this difficulty arises from an extreme sensitivity of feelings (compounded by your Cancer moon)which have never been properly integrated. The other main source is that of an unrealistic imagination which has a tendency to create escapist private realities, where you can avoid facing those aspects of life that you dislike or which are too painful.

just looking closer at your chart, your venus is:

Semi-sextile your moon, sesisquare neptune, that-other-aspect-that-I-can't-remember Uranus, and trine chiron.

It is sparcely aspected, so the analysis is still relevant

I would like to ask you - what is your stance or general reactions re jealously: which side of the fence are you on? Do you get jealous? Envious? Of others, whether romantic or otherwise?

Hard question I know - we all do to some degree - how do we measure to what degree our jelousy is a small amout or a large amount? You do not need to reveal embarrassing details at all, just put it on a scale 1-5, 5 being hot blooded raw unashamedly jealous, and 1 being never ever. Can you try to answer please
