I posted this in astrology but thought this might be a better place instead:
Hello,
I am attempting to understand this mighty planet as it seems to be important in my chart.
My Pluto Aspects:
Pluto (in Scorpio) squaring (tight orb) Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus
Pluto conjunct South Node, Opposing North Node
Pluto Trine MC

I'm particularly interested in the Pluto/South Node conjunction as I haven't studied the nodes very much but know they have to do with karma (how exactly?)

My life has been full of transformations and separations. Lost my father and my soulmate (both Scorpios) before the age of 23. I draw a LOT of Scorpions into my life (and really like them and connect to them). I think about death CONSTANTLY, and have developed intense anxiety as a result

What am I supposed to do with all this Pluto? I feel like it'll either kill me soon or make me invincible.

I guess my main questions are:
What's the karmic significance of the s. node conjunct pluto in scorpio in the 2nd
and what is Pluto's function other than (What seems to me) just cruelly taking things away and tearing things down. Is there a point/ redemption/ something behind it?

I have to try to get an overall feel before I address your question about Pluto.
I see the Libra ASC right off which shows me it is hard for you to deal with deep, hard primal emotions i.e. Pluto

Are you willing to dialogue back and forth and look at hard things? I am a student not a professional so I will make mistakes and not do it all "right".Is that is Ok--hop in !

OK Sun, Merc and Venus in 4th in Aqua oppose Leo moon in 10th

You are very charming
Your mind may be too close to your ego and you get hurt very easily by slights.

Home and all things of the home are super important to you
However you really value career and society so go back and forth between these things as to which should be the center of your life

You can feel you have an identity on the one hand and it is intellectual. You can feel you have emotions on the other hand which are passionate.
You struggle between the two .You can back and forth and it is frustrating
You go back and forth between home and career/social obligations
That is frustrating too
You wonder if you can be "one person" instead of this split.

Does that fit?

I definitely do NOT value career and society in the least (unfortunately?) but everything else is dead on, especially the part about not feelings like "one person", and having a big intellect/emotions split. Wow, thanks. Anything else? I'm particularly interested in the Pluto thing and also why I feel like I am tripping out some some intense hallucinogens most days.

OK Moon (the heart) is in the house of Career and society.
I am thinking the aspects may be doing it.Lets see why.
Perhaps you are rebelling.I will see what the chart says and ask you.
Thank you for appreciating my efforts!

You could add transits if you want. I am just starting to learn them but I bet you have some things in the sky touching Pluto

Just to address Pluto here.Ok Pluto is in the 2nd so there will be ups and downs in the material world which will force you to transform.
It squares Moon in the 10th .So, you may have a hard time meeting your financial needs with career .Is this true?

Ok Tell me if this is true
PLuto in the 2nd square Sun in 4th
Your identity is tied up with your early home. One parent maybe your Dad was dominant. I am not sure which one.
However your identity is strongly tied to your early home.
Your love in life is the home. You like old things like antiques and value things which are of good quality such as fine furniture.
You would be interested in Historic homes for example,
You love to talk about all things that have to do with the home

Now Pluto in the 2nd aquaring all these planets in the 4th could make it such that you had tremendous ups and downs in your family home such as big financial ups and downs.
Your identity was hard to maintain. Your insides --mind and inner sense of harmony took a huge hit.

You struggle with trying to make a lot of separate parts of you and parts of life fit .

Is this true? Yea or Nay?
I am stretching myself here so please be brutally honest lol

Pluto trine MC would be a grace aspect showing you that you could overcome.
Pluto conj SM shows that you CAN handle Pluto.
Oppose NN shows that you will struggle to make Pluto something that works for you.
It will be a struggle but you have the resources to do it would be the meaning of SN/NN to me

Hey, sorry it took me forever to reply, I have not been coming on here recently. Everything you wrote is very true except the financial part- but I have not yet had a career so I'm not sure what will happen then. By the way- a while back you wrote in a post I made about a relationship that you had an intuition that I should not get involved with the person, that it would cause a lot of pain. Well, I should have listened, you were dead-on. Thanks.
