This is very true Starcrossed - it seems he outwardly expresses all that I keep inside and he pushes me to face those aspects in myself. At the same time I express spiritually and emotionally and live this in a way he cannot express. We do love that difference in one another because there feels like a completion of one another in some way.

I read one of your comments today in another thread and you had said that you feel pain with and without the man you were speaking about. I also feel the same way in this relationship and no matter how long I go away for or how far something always brings us back together. When I am away from him I realise how much I love him and just how much he teaches me and can feel and sense how much he loves me also. I feel a responsibility to him (and it's not a bad thing) - it's a genuine feeling of wanting to help him reconnect with his heart and from my side knowing that he can tap into the rawness of my expression and him being able to handle it. I always feel like he's close to me - even when I go away and at the same time feel a need to go back and get him to ensure he knows I'll never give up or leave him behind. However, one of the issues is that when I am with him I tend to feel kept in a certain place and do not feel he gives me the emotional nourishment I seek and he distances himself emotionally from me too which creates a sadness in me and there are certain feelings of rejection - which then makes me want to break free again.

It is funny but the quincunx seems so elusive and weird cuz it always combines things that do not go together naturally.That is the nature of it,the essence
