Hey Im practicing and "trying" to learn Hoary also..
Wanna look at this with me and tell me what you think... I need an objective opinion..

This is with someone I am no longer talking to.. I go out of my way to avoid him... Last month he's done the same.. He's trying to talk to me, slowly.. But I wont allow it...
He's only said Hi or Good Morning.. I have said it back, but I refuse to stop and I keep walking..

So Why is he trying to talk to me?????
What does he want to say to me??
Grrrr.. IT ****** me off...

I am Saturn (ok so Im standing my ground..lol)
He is moon.

Saturn does not aspect moon.. Which shows we are NOT talking...

I am in his H3 his house of communication. Which maybe shows he wants to??

He (the moon) only aspects Mars which is applying...
He wants to talk to me about Mars themes?
Mars rules my 10th and my 3rd...
(we do work together)
He wants to talk about work?

What do u think?
Or he doesnt want the awkward feelings at work?

I googled "how to read a horary chart" and this was the first hit http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12782 so I've been using it as a guideline.

I would say it's gotta be something with Mars in the 6th? It's the only planet mutually aspected by Saturn and Moon. I'm good at yes or no questions, but when it's a little more involved, like a "why" question, I get a little lost.

That site I linked says the moon is very important because it's kind of like the engine, so since he is the moon in the horary, maybe he's the one facilitating action... but that doesn't really help answer why he's doing it. Again, I'm drawn to Mars.

Sorry I'm not much help! I have much to learn still

Well then I think its because of work...
which makes sense...

But the trine show's he's tryng and the square to me, shows Im not doing it... lol...

I dont want to talk to him.. Im not ready to speak to him..

Okay, I'm going to think through this aloud and let me know if any of it seems like it makes sense...

the 6th house rules work. Mars in the 6th is in Cancer, which is a weak position. The moon is weak considering it's only aspect is a wide, separating trine to mars. Moon is in the 2nd house, personal resources. Both point to the situation happening at work because he makes his money/living by working. The aspect is separating, which indicates an ending or parting of ways. You as Saturn square Mars in Cancer and it's applying. Squares in horary indicate obstacles. Perhaps there are obstacles preventing you from being completely happy at work? Perhaps you are the one applying these obstacles, since the square is applying? Ruler of the 6th is Mercury, which is opposite Neptune, so perhaps that explains the confusion. Do you think he's confused as to why you cut him off?

Yes Im standing my ground and not wanting to talk to him...

We got into an argument, and it was a mutual see YA!! So IDK why he started to talk to me..

Well there was a misunderstanding, that got taken WAY overboard.. but thats not the reason.....
He thinks Im mad at one thing, but yeah he doesnt know what Im really mad about..

MARS IS TEH RULER OF THE 3RD IN THIS CHART. Guh. It's square to Uranus in the 3rd which is another piece of the Cardinal Cross... This shite can get involved, huh?

Is there a hidden power struggle between you two? Saturn in this chart is the ruler of the 12th, which houses Pluto and finishes off the Cardinal Cross. I think it might all be related. I don't know why or how... just a gut feeling.

I'm looking at house rulers. Just because it's horary doesn't mean you throw regular astrological interpretations out the window completely, I don't think. 3rd house is communication, and with the cusp in Aries it makes Mars it's ruler...

Im (saturn) in his H3... (when you flip the chart to see what he's doing) using Cancer as the Asc... His H3 is Libra.

He (moon) will be moving into my H3

Totally didn't know about the flipping the chart thing...

And I made a mistake up there, Jupiter rules the 12th... I got so excited thinking I was on to something but I'm probably talking nonsense.

The from his POV, he's in the 8th and that mars is in the 12th. Is there a chance that you see things as a strictly work relationship and he wants to view it as more of a deep thing?

So, I've been doing more research on how to read horary, and I'm not sure if using the DC to signify this guy is correct. Everything I read suggests using a different house ruler for the significant depending on the relationship. Co-workers would be the ruler of the 6th, friends ruler of the 11th. Using the DC would be signifying a marriage partner or a lawsuit or open enemy (unless you're considering him an open enemy at this point )

quote:

The Significators

The Querent is the person with the query of course. The Significator for the Querent is the planet ruling the 1st house of the chart. The subject of the inquiry is called the Quesited and this Significator is the planet ruling the house relevant to the inquiry. Each house rules different issues and this is why the question must be clearly stated and clear in the mind of the astrologer. Deciding on exactly which house is to be under scrutiny before proceeding to read the chart eliminates confusion.
