I've hear that a man's moon sign determines the the type of woman he unconsciously is attracted to and more comfortable with than his venus sign. Does the male moon find the mars woman stunning? I never hear wether the moon man ever find the mars women beautiful/ attractive.

i rarely dislike a sign anyway. especially female. moon in leo. seeing a leo. venus in taurus. i could definitely see why i'd like them but no chance to have met one yet. mars in scorpio. yes i'm attracted to scorpios.

Hmm it would make more sense to me if it were venus and not mars.

I think the moon is a powerful indicator. My moon is in Libra and I had an unhealthy attraction to one that lasted for years. Of course my seventh house is also Libra, so my Venus in aries is just an afterthought.

Can you give more examples of this. Are you saying it is a direct correlation.
If so please explain more

Hi Ami,

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I'll try my best to explain.

I think that since my moon and descendent are both in libra, it increases the appeal that I have for libra women. In fact, most of the women I've been strongly attracted to have either been libra's or been very libra-like. My Venus is in Aries, which as a guy would suggest that I would be attracted to Aries people, but I haven't really ever liked an Aries like that. I must admit I would appreciate a woman who shows how she feels so I didn't have to over-analyze like I tend to do, and I enjoy a woman with a lot of energy, but Aries women are generally too bossy and rude for my liking. I guess Venus focuses more on how I like to interact with members of the opposite sex.

As to why I had the unhealthy obsession, I'm not quite sure astrologically. No one has ever analyzed our synastry, but I'm pretty sure there was probably something Neptunish going on because I was head over heals for her and she didn't feel the same way. Her sun was pretty close to my descendent, so it made her pretty hard to resist.

I thought it was more venus and 7th house sign and placements? And juno for ideal partner (characteristics)

I have moon, venus and merc in libra (7th house) , alot of asteriods in 7th house too (juno, lilith, vertex etc etc) and since my merc conjunct my desc, it just basically means I want a sophisticated, intelligent guy who is well presented, motivated and is going places,as well as understated charm and has some sort of romantic bone in his body haha. This is further accentuated by my virgo sun and mars. So yes, I NEED an intelligent, witty, *interesting* guy. Looks ain't going to keep my attention.

I do know for guys it's moon + venus+ 7th house... and for girls it's moon + mars + 7th house.

Aww Thank you for explaining Noble.
One man who has had a life long love for me has his Neptune conj my ASC.

Let me ask you this. Please tell me your experience with someones planets conjuncting your DSC.
I have not had that. What do each of you feel?

In your case with the Libra you are right that it may be your DCS sign and that could be the factor more than the moon.

For me,I have a Cancer Moon.I love a little Cancer in a man but not too much.
There can only be ONE whiner in a relationship and I want it to be me

Haha, good one ami! As for the experience of having her sun conjunct my descendent, I can't describe it better than saying I thought she was perfect. I poured out my heart to her, could've tell het everything and talk for hours. Even when she lied to me or hurt me, i forgave her. We're just friends now, but it took me forever to get over her. I could show you our synastry if you'd like.

Well, the Moon is the mother. And like my therapist says, the first opposite sex relationship we have in this life is with our mothers (for boys) and fathers (for girls). We're bound to subconsciously search people who resemble our opposite sex parent somehow, to make us deal with unsolved issues or fill a void that our parent left within us.

So yes, the Moon in a guy's chart is a strong indication of what he's searching for in a woman. It doesn't necessarily have to be the sign on his Moon, just carry those characteristics in her chart.

Ami,
Yes, conjunctions to ASC/DSC axis are very powerful. Men with Venus at 20-25 Capricorn (on my Asc) find me very beautiful, I am what they find attractive in a woman, even if I don't see myself that way. But they do.
I dated a few guys with Mars at 20-25 deg Capricorn (4 of them, actually). The sexual attraction was instant and undeniable. My ex, the Bull, said I was an extremely attractive woman (huh??) in his eyes. It didn't matter that I had a few extra pounds or no make up and messy hair. It was a magnetic pull. One of them became physically aggressive, one verbally. The Bull just wanted to dominate me sexually. As for the Sag I'm currently separating from (or not), it is yet to be established (or not). All 4 said they desired me intensely.

My boss has his Sun conjunct my DC exact. No idea what it means, though, except for his curiosity regarding my love life.

Just a few from the top of my head.

I would say so. A good deal of astrologers would say the same. It doesn't always mean that the guy's wife will be of the same sign, but it or the traits of her sign will come up in her chart. My dad's Moon was in Pisces and conjunct my mom's Moon. Using the same method for women, there's nothing in my mom's chart that reflected my dad's Sun sign except her Jupiter. For men, the Moon is very telling. For women, the Sun isn't always much help.

So in other words do you think then the moon would be more compatible with the venus then the mars?

That's the same question I'm wondering if the moon person views the venus person as marriage material and the mars person just a sexual attraction? I'm curious.

I would say yes.
The Moon is more about deep needs and feelings, whereas Mars is about desires and sexuality.

So it would be good to trigger both equally to have a meaningful connection, otherwise one of the aspects may be lacking on the long term.
