I have been practicing doing readings based with my deck of Karma Cards devised by Monte Farber. I am choosing these cards right now because they help me learn more about the astrological symbols and in a more intuitive way.I have developed my own way of doing them and would like to practice some more on anyone interested.

The way the cards work:
1) Have the cards set out in the order of Planet, Sign, and then house.
2) There are two sides to the card; Blue and Red. Read the Blue side when looking for the outcome of the situation, and use the Red side when you are want to know what you should do about the situation.
3) There are words printed on the card that have a single letter in the border alongside them; S, M, or P. These are the three different levels of answers you can get.
1. Spritual-What is best for the nurturing of your soul.
2. Mental-What is best for the nurturing of your intellect.
3. Physical-What is best for the nurturing of your bodily needs.

If you would like a reading I will need this following information:
1) Your question.
2) Your Ascendant sign, it's planetary ruler, and the
house that planet resides in. I ask of this because I put those according cards at the top of the reading (from Planet, Sign, and then house.
*For example; if I'm doing a reading for myself I have Virgo (my ASC), Mercury (ruler of Virgo), and the 1st house (house Mercury is placed in my chart) at the top of the reading.*
3) What you are looking for--either the outcome of the situation, or what course of action you should take to achieve the desired outcome or goal.
4) If you WANT you can also post a picture of yourself, as it may help me focus on you a bit better. But this is NOT vital for my readings so it's entirely OPTIONAL.

When I post your reading I will start with your username, the cards, what they read according to what type of answer you were looking for (outcome/what action to take), and then I will interpret in my own words.

*EDIT* I will also add how these cards describe you a person and how I picture based your Ascendant, Ruler, and House.

Please remember everyone, I am a little rusty with all tarot cards at the moment and haven't given too many readings and am just practicing again right now. Please feel free to criticize but don't get mad if I'm not totally on the ball as I am still learning.

Were will I get my most joy from and how will the next year with my family play out i'm having some issues as I am going to be leaving my home soon..."on my own terms" and I have my own path I want proceed with and they won't be very supportive .. How can I ease in with what I want without being brass and selfish or insensitive I have gone through a lot of pain my whole childhood and I hate bringing that out on my mother especially because I haven't been the "best daughter " ...also i'm in a great relationship now were I feel totally devoted i'm curious of peoples reactions okay .. sorry that was long you don't have to answer all of that just a general feel of the near future peoples attiude towards me and how I can reflect a more positive image so everyone can be somewhat happy and everything isn't total chaos . I know your new to this and you will probably get hammered with a lot of questions so yeah

To me, this could mean that you need to work on trusting your intuition and not jumping into something you don't have a realistic grasp on. Do not idealize other people or it will be hard to have true love because you are not seeing the object of your affection clearly. There may be a change you need to either make in your self or in your life in order to have the relationship you are looking for. This doesn't mean you shouldn't look for somebody that fits your most highest and spiritual ideals. Just make sure you know the person truly fits it, not just that you like them and want them to fit it.

Thanks for the advice. The funny thing is, I've become almost desperate at this point, and I feel like I needed that advice to remind myself that I'm worth it, and not to rush into things. I think I want to be loved so badly that I've been telling myself that the next person who shows me any feelings will be the one. I also have a tendency to misunderstand friendship and love...

Might I start off by stating you are a very stunning girl! I am quite jealous of those eyes!! If I would have seen that picture without you telling me your Ascendant was Pisces I would have guessed it immediately! Or at least known that Neptune was close to the ASC anyway! I think the biggest thing is when approaching your family (it may be better to do it individually than the whole group, it may go a bit more smoothly that way especially with your mother) to be diplomatic. Before discussing it too much with anyone, make sure you take a good look at each person involved and your relationship with that person. Why is their opinion important in the matter? Maybe their role in your life may help you understand why they care about it themselves and why they feel the way they do about your choices. That is very interesting! And as difficult and restricting as the whole thing may have been, it is a huge part of who you are and something you will be able to look back to and learn from. Your religious experience (even though it may have been negative in your eyes) will make you a dynamic person I think. It probably helps you to be understanding of other cultures and belief systems and that is a very admirable quality to have in my opinion.
Hmm since religion and culture played a huge part in your child hood, being part of your "roots" I am curious as to what sign you have on your IC (fourth house cusp) and/or what planets reside in your fourth house.

In a nut shell, northernlad, yes you absolutely should go teach english in Korea!! Without even knowing you I can already say this would be a great outlet for your intelligent and philosophical bent. I think teaching children would be best for you anyways. They will appreciate your good humor and fun attitude. They will be able to relate to you but also respect you.

Wow that is so fascinating. I truly believe in past lives also. Doesn't the twelfth house link to past lives? Although the 8th governs the other side and incarnations. Where would you look to find your past lives?
