That's gotta be difficult on you, Voix.
It's weird because when I did your reading I got the impression that there was going to be good news about a marriage or coming together of people. Maybe this is just what has been on your mind?

I am not an expert at synastry but I do try so if you're willing to give me a chance to look at it I'd be more than willing to.

Yes, the aspects you mentioned would create a strong sense of longing, I would say (based on the Venus conj. Mercury) the Venus person (is it him?) catches the attention of the Mercury person with their charm (this is just brief, sorry I can get a bit more into it later on the day when I have more time). Pluto conj. Moon, now that seems potent. Based on how you describe your feelings about him I would guess maybe you are the Moon person? If not he probably has a strong fascination over you.

If you want to post the synastry I will give it a shot. I'm sure there are a lot more knowledgeable people on here willing to help you out also.

I have to go to work now, but I will take a look when I get back.

Hopefully by then someone else would have chimed in. Good luck in the meantime

Ok Soothsayer, chat later then.

I can't actually post the data sheet as it has the details on it too, I thought I would be able to edit it, but it turns out I can't.

I'll have to think about how to do this.
I'm sure it's perfectly simple, but as you seen before, nothing is simple when you are an idiot!

I haven't finished reading the thread but if u save it to your hard drive then go into paint you'll be able to scribble the details out, or make a square type box and fill it in with colour, that'll be quicker

Wow that's gotta be so frustrating to feel that strongly for someone you cannot have. And kudos to you--I don't know very many people who would stay away for someone they had feelings for because their friend likes them. You are a great friend and a very honest person. Although I know that doesn't really help your problem.
As cliche as it might sound, if you are meant to be together you will be. Whatever your decision is, make it the one you feel the most happy and comfortable with. Whatever you feel is right.

As for posting your details, what dysfunctionalmystic said --

quote:

should do the trick.

You kind of made me giggle (not to mock you, I just thought it was cute) when you said "And I just realised I rambled a whole lot of bumf there.
Apologies to anyone reading this who expected coherancy and/or substance."
I know the feeling, I do the same thing but need not worry. That's kind of the point of forums like this. It helps people let out their stresses and fears, while looking at them in an astrological way.
Oh and none of what you said lacked coherency or substance...there is a lot of substance to what you are saying and what you are worried about. Don't worry

If you can't get your chart figured out, maybe just give us a list of the aspects (orbs would be a great help) and the houseoverlays as well.

Ahem, I'm a bit confused.

What is the difference between synastry chart and a composite chart?

Is the composite the chart of the relationship itself, e.g., what the persons create as like a third energy, and the synastry how the persons interact and relate to each other?

Composite - is an additional chart to look at, synastry shows the dynamics in play, the composite shows the actual relationship itself as a third entity. Aspects from the natal to the composite will show how each person relates to the relationship.

there's also the davison which is said to show how the relationship really is whereas the composite shows how things are once the relationship gets underway.

I just thought you'd appreciate the heads up on the limerence thing, for me - knowledge is power and if we know about something then it can help us to stay a little bit rational. Sometimes its not possible to avoid these things but if we understand what's going on at least we know we're not going mad.

I'd found a really good article on the vertex in synastry a couple of weeks ago and I've been going through my web history to find it but no luck so far.

I think if we are "provoked" by someone, its always useful to look at the whys but then I'm a bit obsessive at digging into my psyche and I'll happily disembowel myself emotionally if I think I can get wisdom from it. (moon chiron conjunction in aries in the 5th) but I've also got uranus opposing so I have the ability to detach when the going gets too tough....well most of the time I can detach.

I need to find that article, it even mentioned about planets squaring the vertex being the stuff we'd need to attend to....grrrr I hate being so absent minded sometimes.

I completely agree DM.

Perpetual, self-disembowler here too

Is it just me, or when you cmone out of the mist of the transformation, you feel like the fireman (the new you) walking out of the burning building carrying the victim (the essence of yourself) haha, it's a bit silly, but I feel like that after a good emotional disembowling.

Don't worry too much about the article for me, unless you would like to find it again anyway. I'll see what I can dig up myself.
Thankfully I have some tiem just now before school starts again, or I'd really being going off my head!

Hahahaha yeah I get the fireman thing and rightly so, not everyone has the capacity to be so ruthless on the self but that sense of achievement from self mastery and self understanding is one of the best feelings ever.
