OK,At some point could you do a bigger chart,just natal. I will do asteroids ,at the end.
Let me propose this to you cuz so many people tell me my readings have been life changing to them.
I will go step by step with you.You answer. some things will be easy and you already "know" them,but being forced to think and answer opens up new avenues in your self understanding.
I have seen peoples lives changed. That is why I wanted to experience it.
It is a slow process that could take a few weeks,if we do asteroids, which I would like. So,for me, do the same, write short posts and I will answer.

I am gonna start where I feel I want to and go where it leads.
I see Eros on your Vertex. I don't know much about Vertex,but I am thinking that what hits it must be important in your life.I realize my Mercury hits mine and Mercury is prolly my most dominant planet. Back to you, I think Eros is pivotal for you.I am wondering if Vertex is like NN in the sense that it IS what we must live;what we must incorporate. I think it may be. What planet or asteroid hits OUR vertex may be very important for us,just as when another person's planet touches our vertex in synastry. You have Psyche conj Lilith in the 2nd. This is very interesting.Lilith is raw passion.Psyche is the pair to Eros.It is the soul part of Eros,if you will. IOW,Psyche is soul mate love minus the erotic.

Vertex is about "fated encounters"; it usually is not as lasting as the nodal ties, but those encounters that will make you change your life within a blink of an eye, very transformative.
For you it might be tied to your Mercury and of course 8th house issues, as mercury also ruiles your 8th house.Death but also occult things or deep sexual relationships could bring you in touch with these lifechanging encounters.

Yes, it is a possibility; though Vertex will usually fall in 5th to 9th house in any chart, so many people will have Vertex in 8th house, but in your case it also conjunct the ruler of 8th house.
Not sure how it really works for me, but it is tied to Eros and Sun/moon midpoint and widely conjunct Saturn, which rules 2nd house, and the dispositor of Vertex, Moon, is in 2nd house, so I guess that the 2nd house stuff really gets to me. Not so much the financial side of it, but these encounters might be related to my value system and feelings of (in)security.

I am playing my guitar and meditating on what we have so far.
I am gonna throw something out for your consideration.
I have Mercury conjunct my Vertex with my nickname. This nickname is the real me,is all I can say.It is the me, without the walls and without the stuff my mother put on me and I took ,in order to survive.
It is the me WITHOUT the Echo.OK, I am thinking that what conjuncts our Vertex is our personal destiny in some very personal way,as the NN is,perhaps, in a more global way,or to the world more.

With your nickname conjunct it it definitely makes sense, though I think that the whole chart displays the real you.
Anyway, in my case I think it is more the fact that my Sun/Moon-mp is conjunct the Vertex-axis. The Vertex-axis is more personal than the nodal one, I agree, just for the reason that it is dependent on the exact birthtime, while the nodal axis is not. On the other hand the nodal axis is symbolic of the relationship of Sun and Moon, so it definitely has to do with our personal path.
I think both are important. EDIT:
Saturn in Cancer in 8th conjunct that Vertex and Eros is the handle of my bucket-shape, it means that all experiences are being channelled through Saturn and this is how I connect with others.
So I think this Eros/Saturn/Vertex is not simply the Real me (you find me in other parts of my chart as well), but it is the Real me in terms how I connect to others.
A real deep relationship can only happen on this basis for me, and of course since we are talking Saturn here, it is a real challenge.

Oh I can be fooled, of course I can and I have been. It`s always the areas where we feel really safe that we tend to be taken advantage of, because we are not discerning enough and take this safety for granted I think. But I try to remember that I can be wrong and even can be fooled easily and try to remain at least a bit sceptical to be able to see things from a distance and maybe take in more of the picture than what I subjectively wANT to see. But of course I am just as subjective as anyone else, just trying to be aware of it.
EDIT:
And remember I have Nessus in Gemini in 7th house and Dejanira in 3rd house - Gemini / 3rd house, I probably NEED that Scepticus urgently. Interestingly that Scepticus / Amor / helio Angel is trine my Dejanira on the Ariespoint. I imagine it is helpful.
