Sorry. It happens. It was one of those reg edit errors that went back in time to 1910 that was slowing down the Forum. This time it is particularly saddening, because there was some incredibly good information on it. IP: Logged |

Everything happens for a reason, I suppose. Maybe we can create another one? IP: Logged |

BUGGER! I was wondering if the midpoint/angle links in my chart meant anything. My Asc and IC ruler is Mercury (Gemini and Virgo) My DC ruler is Jupiter (Sagittarius) My MC ruler is Neptune (Pisces)
My Mercury/Jupiter midpoint is Pisces 22.47 My MC is Pisces 22.52! Neptune (MC's ruler) aspects Jupiter, Mercury, and AC/DC. Neptune conjunct DC & opp AC (1) Neptune trine Mercury (2) Neptune square Jupiter (1) , AND they are in mutual reception. Mercury/Neptune midpoint is 8.12 Aquarius (my Moon is Aquarius 9.45) Jupiter/Neptune midpoint is Capricorn 23.52 (my Vertex is Capricorn 23.12) IP: Logged |

Those types of glitches have been resolved. It should never happen again. *knock on wood* BTW, Merc Rx has been very kind to us this time 'round.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." You calculate the midpoint of two planets, this degree is a sensitive one and is consider to merge the energies of that planet; it is important if a third planet is occupying this midpoint, as it becomes the focal point of the two energies. Ex: Venus: 10 Gemini Pluto: 10 Libra Moon: 10 Leo the midpoint of Venus and Pluto is 10 Leo, where Moon is located. Moon is thus on the midpoint of Venus/Pluto and is coloured by the Venusian/Plutonic theme; it is operating like a conjunction, a merging of Venusian a nd Plutonic energies in the emotional makeup (Moon). in midpoint astrology the conjunction and opposition are considered (direct midpoints); but also the square, semisquare and sesisquare (indirect ones). I usually use the conjunction and opposition, but have noticed that the square has an ultra strong impact as well.
For example in my chart: Moon squares Sun/Pluto and Mercury/Pluto midpoint Venus squares Sun/Saturn midpoint And boy do I feel these two! It seems that more important than if it is a conj. or square is the exactness of orb. (btw the square in midpoints is not more challenging than the conjunction; just indicates that there is an energetical exchange, but it is not differentiated like we usually do when saying a square is challenging and a conj. is harmonious; the aspects are just relating to ENERGY; which is why the soft aspects are not considered for midpoints, as the energetical flow is too subtle to be noticed; they donīt "make" things "happen"). I am using a one degree orb up to 1°30 with midpoints, which is the norm I think. The composite is based on that theory as well, as we take the midpoints between two planets in different charts.
