Topic: Opinions on this tarot reading please!

Earlier tonight I was doing a year spread that is based on the seasons of the year. You pull three cards for each season, starting with whatever season you are in. Here is what I got.1. Fall (King of Wands, Four of Pentacles, The Hermit)
2. Winter (The Lovers, The Empress, Four of Wands)
3. Spring (Seven of Cups, The Magician, Knight of Cups)
4. Summer (Three of Cups, Eight of Swords, Seven of Pentacles)
5. Fall (Strength, King of Swords, Three of Wands)
6. Overall theme for the year. (Ace of Pentacles, The Devil, Six of Swords) Now I could totally be misjudging things, because you know how it goes when you do readings for yourself. But the Winter season sticks out to me. My intuition tells me that I am going to get pregnant during the Winter season. I am just looking for other opinions on this reading. So what do you think? I've seen 10 of cups predict pregnancy on more than one occasion and in general it's usually associated with it more.IP: Logged |

hi pixie!Here's my opinion.
Because I haven't pulled the cards myself, I cannot do the reading! When a reader pulls for your question, they focus and connect with you. It's not just cards. If that was the deal with card reading, all these online "automatic" tarot readings would be doing a fine job as well. In my opinion, as a reader, if there is no energetic connection between the reader and the querent, the cards bear no meaning. You may as well look them up on the web or on a book and see if you can figure out anything. This is not how intuitive readings work as I explained. Any tarot card has multiple meanings; how will you know which one applies? It's all intuition and energetic link. I say, ask for a reader to read for you, that is, ask them to pull cards for you and get their own feeling based on the cards for your question. Anything less is like looking up things on an encyclopedia; not very predictive or helpful to your particular situation at all. I also would suggest that you try to remain open to readings offered to you. The message is always right. Sometimes the readers won't put it in a clear enough way or you might not be in a position to understand the message yet. But stay with it. Meditate on its truth. See if it resonates and where it leads you in relation to your situation. blessings and

and I did a coming year oct-sept 12months spread and alongwith cards that give theme for year and I got The world, Empress and Lovers, and that really reminded me of your reading.IP: Logged |

I can see why you think that, Pixienoire.. The Empress and the Four of Wands suggest pregnancy, particularly the former card. With the Lovers card, they may also suggest focus on a relationship, on deepening ties within a relationship and setting up a home. But I agree with anongrl10.. the intuition adds to the reading, and helps the reader figure out the story behind it, so another person may not be able to provide a conclusive opinion. Best,
