OK we will start with your Sun. It is either in the 3rd or the 4th. It should be relatively clear which one. I will throw something out from the LITTLE I have known you on here. Yous seem like you may be a 4th house Sun as you seem very connected to your child hood home, deep in your soul. Does that fit? A 3rd house Sun would be very different. Answer this, if you care to, and we can go on from there.

I do have strong attachment to family and heritage, but then even if my Sun is in 3H, it is still conj IC. And I do love talking, a lot.

Hmmm Well lets go on to other planets as Sun conj IC would make it hard to tell if it were 3rd or 4th house. Other planets should be clearer.

Mercury would be in the 4th or 5th, I would guess 4th, just as a guess. You seem more serious, rather than more light hearted, to me. You seem as if you take your background very, very seriously. What do you think? There is a big difference between a 4th and a 5th house planet. Mercury would be your mind and what you like to talk about, of course. What do you think?

Ceres is in the 3rd in the top chart and the 2nd in the bottom chart. How do you show your nurturing--money and/ or things to make someone comfortable in the material world or words?

Hmmm...this one sort of puts me more in the 9H? I care about my career, and for the past 18yr, career has been the core of my life. But I have never been obsessed with work. I work OT only if absolutely necessary. I like to joke that I work so that I can earn the $ to enjoy the fun of my numerous hobbies.

I love intellectual discussions and am obviously interested in astrology etc.

But I do love travel and my work has taken me on extended stays overseas/out-of-town (>1yr) and I can usually adapt quite quickly.

So 9H with MC there?

This is a bit tough. I can be serious and I can be light-hearted. When you say I am serious, I love playful thoughts and have quirky sense of humor, but even when I play, I am serious. I am pretty good at creative writing as well as technical writing. So what am I?

I am not a miser. I like spending $ on creature comforts, but I save too. I do not like spending on credit. Always 100% settlement of my credit card bills by autopay. I like buying stuff and treating people I like to meals.

I nag too (or pass advice whether wanted or not), but with little water, my words are reasonable rather than sympathetic.

So more 2H?

Well,OK, the IMPORTANT planet here is the 9th house vs the 10th. That alone can make us choose the right chart, imo

I think with 9H, it points quite strongly to equal. So with the house placement rectified, I look forward to your insight into my chart.

Actually, I have a relationship question bugging me, could you help me look at that instead?

I met a guy online last summer. He seemed to be interested. We met up, then suddenly he seemed to have cold feet (he was divorced, and seemed he might still bear the torch for his ex-wife). Anyway, I thought things would drop off, but whenever I stopped, he would revive the interaction via SMS. Recent months, we have met up a few more times and exchange SMS on daily basis. But it has been over a year since meeting and I still have no idea if he is interested in developing something more serious with me and whether we have any longer term potentials.

of course, Darling, make a new thread with the synastry. I go by that better than Composite. It would be my pleasure. if you answer and I don't get back, bump the thread. I did not see your last post

P.S I am big on the equal house system! I find it to be 100 times more accurate than any other systems. Just saying .

Mars-north node conjunction in 9th house, in aquarius- I’m thinking of you as a progressive. Are you independent? Do you pride yourself in this independence? An air mars must be interesting. Even though I think aquarius is more of a stable air, in mars I think it becomes a little nervous. Do you ever feel nervous about taking action? Like you think your actions over before actually pursuing them, and even after, you consider the possibilities had you acted in another way? Do you appreciate other people’s need for distance? Do you allow them their space without worrying about why they want to be left alone, or don’t want to share certain things with you?

I’m really curious about Mars lately. He and I have been connecting lately so I’m really interested in hearing about how you relate to yours, if this is something you’re willing to elaborate on.

Also if there is anything specific about your chart you’d like to consider, please just say so.

Yes, super independent and proud of it. I feel I can live in most places in the world and adapt to it (maybe esp when in 9H)

Interesting view. Quite on spot on a few points. I am not sure whether I am nervous or not, but I do like to think ahead how to act before acting when it is not an on the spot situation. For example, I am quite adapt at project planning, planning ahead for different scenarios.
When on the spot, I can act quite impulsively and I'd say I have both quick temper and quick mental reflexes

I think Uranus is quite strong in my chart, what do you think?

But you are absolutely right about my thinking "what-if" after the fact. This is bad (I regret) but this is also good (the relection is part of learning for me)

I do think I respect others need for space. I need space myself. If I want to share, I will and I respect the same in others.

The only times I would be unhappy when others dont share with me were when they shared with others friends and I got jealous (of course only for good friends). But this is getting better as I grow older, and esp when I start to learn synastry and understand the different dynamics in relationships.

What kind of partner you see will work for me? Seems like my independence has scared away most of the guys

As soon as you said you can be impulsive, I immediately thought Uranus! I keep describing him as ‘pesky’ and he is. Does your impulsiveness get you in trouble at times?

I think reflecting back on and thinking of ways we could have done things differently is a normal habit. It can be beneficial, as you said to help you learn and prepare for how to handle other situations in the future, but it’s important to separate reflection from regret. Reflection is fleeting, but regret only weighs you down and will end of hindering any progress that reflection could have earned you.

That makes sense. It does feel sort of like betrayal when a friend confides in someone else and not you. But people need different things from different people. As you mentioned with the synastry, maybe understand your role or purpose within the friendship will help you to understand why they didn’t share certain things with you.

Well, your 7th house has uranus and jupiter and the house ruler is scorpio. My first reaction is that you must have unconventional expectations. You don’t go for the typical, everyday guy. You like someone who has interesting ideas and interests. Maybe even an interesting style, as far as clothing, the way he walks, or interacts. He has a sense of humor and is rather fearless when it comes to what he is willing to experience.

I’m wondering now about your comment about independence. Perhaps this hasn’t scared partners from you, but intimidated them, or confused them, or tested them. I’m thinking you appreciate someone who is comfortable in themselves, and since most people aren’t, you try and help them to become comfortable. This is probably the scorpio’s influence. Scorpio energy is very transformative, it wants to widdle people down, tear them open, and then help them along as they begin to reconstruct themselves. But this can become overwhelming for most people. Either they expect you to show them exactly how to change, needing you to guide them step by step, which this energy will not do. Or they are simply not willing to explore themselves as much as you are willing to explore them.

I wonder if you are attracted to ‘weaker’ men. People who are emotionally fragile, or even physically. Not so weak that they’re crying all over your shoulder the first time you meet them, but quietly caught up in something, unsure of their place or identity. Do you find yourself constantly ending up in the role of ‘nurturer’? And eventually becoming frustrated with this, as you want to be nurtured too, as you should!

I’m thinking you are a very positive person, or at least appear that way to those around you, so the men that you attract are drawn to that. They want to be with you because you bring happiness and lightness to them. That is jupiter’s place. But jupiter here also encourages change and ‘betterment’. Which not everyone is ready for. Uranus and jupiter are conjunct so I’m imagining you as a very optimistic, or try to be, (who can be happy all the time! ) and outreaching person, someone who explores possibilities in relationships and isn’t always willing to let go of them because even the bad times appear to you as just another possibility to learn about each other.

I think the best person for you would be someone who is confident and willing to allow you to learn about him. And willing to learn about you. Someone who is creative and comfortable in their quirks, someone who has plenty of unique qualities. I think you take relationships very seriously so need someone who will take it just as seriously. Someone who won’t give up on you, during the rough spots. Because I don’t think you’re the type to ever just ‘let go’ without giving your all to keep the relationship going. Someone who is not overbearing, but strong enough in themselves, to understand your need for independence. Someone, also, who you can be playful with, flirty and maybe even, ‘youthful’. I can see you, as developing little inside jokes and playful secrets. He also has to be someone you can communicate with about anything. Common ideas is probably important as with your heavy uranus, you probably have very particular thoughts.

I wish I did Yuting! But if you're anything like me, I believe deeply in fate and fated relationships. Your guy is out there! Hopefully mine as well. If I ever come across someone that fits that description, I will be sure to give you the heads up.
