quote:

Hi there Cecile! Hope you don't mind me butting in. But I can't ignore a fellow scorpio ascendant.

No - not at all, thank you for joining the party!

Your really doing a good job so far. I should have mentioned that I use a bit of a correction factor with my chart. I don't have my exact time of birth, but know what my ascendant and house placements are. I adjust my moon to fifth and jupiter to sixth. But in practice I find that my moon influences both my fourth and fifth and it looks like my jupiter influences my fifth and sixth. Jupiter seems to influence my sixth pretty heavily, but from time to time it makes its mark on my fifth house (I don't know if its because its on the border between houses or because jupiter is the ruler of my fifth).

quote:

My sister has cancer sun and scorpio ascendant. But she has a fire moon. With you pisces moon I’m thinking you must be soooo emotional! All that water!

You're right on! I really be emotional - it is all that water.

quote:

My sister, I know, has a real problem handling her emotions. She acts out nervously, hand movements, slight ocd type thinks, using those behaviors as a way to sort through what she’s feeling and thinking. Do you think that’s true of you? Do you have a lot of nervous energy?

I have my share of nervous energy for sure.

quote:

She also cares deeply for people and becomes extremely upset when those around her are upset, or even when she hears something tragic on the news. Do you find yourself becoming emotionally involved with situations that you are not directly connected to or apart of? For example, hearing about a house burning down on the news. Would this upset you a great deal, more than it should?

I don't really find myself becoming upset because of situation that are unconnected to me. But anything that threatens my emotional security can shake me to the core. And really unusual things can do that for me, things that wouldn't affect others so much.

quote:

With moon in the fourth house, do you feel very safe with your mother? Have you sort of ‘built’ yourself around her? Maybe unconsciously shaping yourself to her, or having her shape you?

I’m also thinking you NEED stability, but rarely feel stable. Within yourself, and within your environment.

So I often pinpoint my moon to my fourth house, my house of origins which I find to be pretty challenged. You're right, I have an emotiona need for stability, and yet I rarely get it.

With the moon square uranus, there are many challenges to my emotional stability. Also, I'm going through a period where I really need some space from my mother. Considering our past relationship, I think this is a pretty big surprise to her.

quote:

Venus in cancer opposite uranus- Cancer makes you nurturing, but do you ever feel like you’re not quite sure how to nurture? Or when you do something you think is nurturing, the other person reacts differently than how you wanted or expected them to?

Uranus is a quirky little planet, opposing your venus, I’m thinking you have an opinion of yourself that might contradict what other people perceive you as. Do you think that’s true? That you think you come off to people a certain way, but the way they respond to you contradicts this?

Do I have really have these aspects? I think I miss having them by just a few degrees.

quote:

There is a lot of cancer energy in you, I’m wondering if this ever comes through as defiance or rebellion? Cancer has always felt to me like a very heavy water. Cancer seems to me to be very productive, expansive, determined. But also fearful and unsure. Combined with the scorpio ascendant and 8th house sun, you must be a VERY intense person. Cancer usually interprets this emotional heaviness in a strange way, though.

I'm going through a period of major rebellion right now - so you're right. And yes, I'm a very determined person, but its tempered with a lot of indecision. I'm definitely an intense person.

quote:

Are you an artist at all? Not just painting or music, any type of art? How do you channel your emotions? I'm curious about this, as I'm thinking art, some form of art, must have a very prominent place in your life. Dancing comes to mind. Especially with that Leo mars.

I'm not an artist in a conventional sense. Unlike my sister, I don't have a talent for dancing or music. Despite having mars in leo, I have a t-quare focused on mars, so I'm an unphysical person. I have a lot of mental creativity though, I used to get it out with writing. Also I have quite a bit of skill with arts and crafts. Right now, I don't really have an outlet for my emotions.

quote:

Do you have a deep or slow voice? Or perhaps, do you sort of exaggerate your words when you speak?

I have the first two in spaces and a bit of the third. How did you pick that up?

quote:

…And pluto in 12th house! Oh my you are very interesting. I’m very curious about you now.
Let me know how I’m doing so far.

I learned so much about myself when I went beyond the heavy focus of cancer in my chart. My scorpionic features, ascendant, 12 house pluto, and 8th house tendency point to major aspects of my life: secret enemies, polarizing tendencies, transformations, and ups and downs.

I figured it might have been something unconventional or even changing. Maybe I picked up the dancing from you sister... does it influence you in any way?

It actually used to influence me during my childhood. My sister is such a talented piano player, but at certain times was on the verge of quitting. Understandably, it stressed my mom out a lot and made life at home pretty tense.

quote:

Yes, you do have a lot of scorpio influences. I’m curious, though, how you feel you balance that against your cancer energies? Even though cancer is supposedly very capable of getting along with scorpio, that has not been my experience. Do you ever feel conflicted with those two strong forces? How do you balance them against each other? Or do you even struggle with that at all?

It hasn't been a huge problem for me. If you look at my chart, my cancer planets (mercury, venus) trine my pluto (in scorpio). But I have to admit that my cancer focus makes my the hits I take in life hurt a lot more...

The Scorpio aspects give me the strength and to go on and rebuild, transform and adapt in response to being hurt. And I have a lot more fight in me than someone purely cancer. Its still a chicken or an egg situation as both feed into each other. But I guess when you think about it, it's troubling to be an essentially peace-loving person but to attract so many problems and so much trouble. Having an explanation helps so much to accept things.

Honestly I have a much easier time reconciling these energies than dealing with the issues with my moon. Ie, I've gone through a lot in my life, but the worst things are usually related my emotions, my origins and sense of self. The other things tend to sort themselves out, but the fourth house issues are getting more and more complicated without a solution in sight.

How about you scorpiorising744? You mentioned you've had a trouble reconciling scorpio with cancer.

Pluto in the 12th-- WOW. Do you have VERY powerful primal emotions which scare you and you feel you must hide?

With Pluto here, find SOMEONE to whom you can bare your soul. Make sure they can be trusted,of course, totally. Tell them everything. We think we are so unique and so bad about our deepest feelings and fantasies. We are not. We are human.
That is my advice with this Pluto!

Do you have pain with committed relationships?
Do you have a passion for intellectual things?

Unfortunately I can't enlarge the chart. I've tried a number of things, but photobucket is fighting with me...

Ami do you have any suggestions?

I definitely have a passion for intellectual things

As far as relationships go, I've had a lot of pain in my relationships with my family and friends. I haven't had a lot of relationship experience so far, and things haven't been too bad. Should be on the lookout for the pain with romantic relationships too?
