according to my tarot and pendulum (which i'm not so good with), i get positive answer. however i may be biased on the subject, so... if someone has a minute or two to spare, could you do this for me?i have lots of concerns, but at the moment i just want to know this one. my guy has written a film script aimed for a low-ish budget TV movie, and sent it out to different productions late summer. he heard back from one or two firms that they forwarded it to their production managers to read (the fact it didn't go straight to the garbage bin is a very good sign). now, this isn't Hollywood here and competition rate is very low. this is his first script, but he has worked in the industry and knows a few people in the field. so he isn't quite a novice. he is a perfectionist (no plot holes!) and wrote this purely for money, an entertaining criminal thriller with comedy and complex characters. seeing what TV here is actually producing, given that it's well-written, i'd think if they don't notice his script what else. usually, if they take a notice, it takes a few months for the process to know whether they want to buy it or not. however the industry here also got busted recently for creating a "family" empire around it. it turns out that's why they produce rubbish, talentless nephews are writing scripts and so on...  in short, will he sell the script? this can help get him out of the total rut... Hi lechien,drew some cards for your question.
Your guy will meet and have support/help from an influential man in this field. I think he will eventually sell the script, the money he will receive seems to be a good amount as well! Well, Good Luck!

Venia, thank you!! it feels somehow even more assuring that you're in Frankfurt, since we also live in Germany. oh i do hope this will happen soon-ish, things appear to be going quite badly for him since a week ago or so... i don't know what's going on because he doesn't tell me anything. i just have to leave him alone to take care of his own things. Ami, i'm thinking of you, how's your "journey"?  i don't go on Facebook much anymore, isn't there a way to turn off the feed from certain people? i got sick of some people getting all berserk over the "occupy" movement, for quite a few of my old friends are extreme leftists. i had to see the updates and their "reactions" every minute, it was just too much... and i made a harmless tongue-in-cheek comment once and they all launched onto preaching me. ugh.
