So, I think I have the basics of a yes or no question with horary (barely), but I have no idea how to answer a general question.

I asked how this guy feels about me. It doesn't have to be romantically or anything like that, ust in general. He could hate me for all I know. I usually can tell how people feel but he's hard to read so it's frustrating lol.

I think that he's in a committed relationship already with someone else. Your significator is Mercury which is in his 12th house (12th from 7th). His significator (I hope I haven't gotten that one wrong) is Jupiter which is not making any contact with you (Mercury). At the same time, in his 1st house (7th house here) he has Venus. Jupiter is making a trine I think with Venus and also makes contact with Saturn (dispositor of Venus) in the 5th house of romance (from the 1st house, 10th house from 7th)

I don't know how to interpret the retrogrades. Both your significators are in retrograde. Now maybe Saturn in the 5th house is a negative as read in horary charts: that is, not necessarily committed. But maybe it's someone he works with?

That's all I can say. But you have to take everything that I write here with a grain of salt as I'm just practicing my novice skills on you.

No, what you wrote makes sense! A lot of times I ask so I can learn the process behind answering. I think he is in a relationship and I'm pretty sure they've been going out for a while. I mentioned the romantically because that seems to be what most people ask about, but mine isn't really. I was wondering how you figured out he is ina relationship? Was it saturn in the 5th in connection with his significator? And do you know what certain planets in certain houses would mean for the other planets? Thanks! I'm really curious about horary, but it's a little overwhelming for me.

I mentioned that he is in a relationship because he has Venus in his first house (7th house) but Venus is in Capricorn, therefore its dispositor is Saturn. Saturn is found in the 5th house from your first house, but 10th house from him. the 10th house is the house of career and such. Saturn is making contact with Venus in his 1st (7th house) thus showing me it is not you as his significator is not making contact with you among other things...

I'll try to find a couple of links from Lindaland to add up here. I found them very useful in breaking down the first steps to take in a horary...I started reading them two weeks ago...and I'm practicing on here...I like the contextual and specific readings of horary...
Once you figure out turning the charts, then it gives you more detail...now I have to figure out when a chart is invalid but all in due time...

Thanks! Yeah, the deposited, etc. stuff is still confusing to me. I don't know why, but I find horary REALLY confusing lol.
