I've been here on this site a few weeks now and have been touched by the efforts of all who have helped. Those of you who know me will recall my issues and concerns with my love life

They say if you want things to change start with yourself and their is no better time than a brand new year to do that

What is it about me that makes it so hard to find love and keep it?

Am I meant to be alone?

I don't really know myself, and this may be one of the reasons love is so elusive

I would love any and all advice you can give me here

Some respected Astrologers shirk when they see planets in the 12th house. They shirk with empathy for the person who must deal with planets placed here. The astrological chart is the wheel of life. It goes from birth to death. The 12th house represents death. As such, the person is not your typical earth bound person occupied with earth bound pursuits. Some part of that person lives in the next dimension. As you can imagine, it makes the sphere of life represented by the 12th house planet harder. For example, if Venus, the planet of love, is in the 12th house, love comes harder for this person. This person may see other people falling in love, seemingly effortlessly, and wonder “Why, me? why is it so hard for me?” Venus in the 12th house wants love, as much as any other Venus, or person, but the 12th house makes Venus not in step with the ways of the world, almost awkward and self doubting. If one has Mars in the 12th house, one’s anger and drive may turn inward to such a degree that the person may boil with anger, but be afraid to express it. This would be a classic aspect for passive-aggression. The Sun in the 12th may make one insecure about shining one’s light, standing out and standing up for one’s unique identity. Saturn in the 12th may want to join in a group, but will wait on the sidelines, for fear of rejection. Pluto in the 12th may push his primal emotions in to the realm of fantasy and be driven by sexual fantasies that seem to propel him to places he does not wish to go. Uranus in the 12th house may, similarly, have fetishes and unusual ways that may cause him to feel he is different in a way that may feel hopeless. Jupiter in the 12th house may make the person feel as if luck is elusive. Other people seem to get all the breaks while he watches from the sidelines. Jupiter in the 12th may protect the person from near miss accidents . It is called the Guardian Angel placement. Neptune is the easiest planet to have in the 12th house, but it is not easy. No 12th house placement is. This person may be psychic. I have this

Mars is the planet of action. It shows how we pursue what we pursue, whether it be a date, a job, or our side of an argument . The 12th house trumps any and all placements in the chart, for difficulty. Mars does not like to be in the 12th house .Mars likes to be where it can move forward in a direct way. Mars likes to take bold and decisive action. The 12th house trumps even the best Mars sign and renders this Mars very unhappy. Just as Mars loves to go forward to pursue a goal or say what is on it’s mind, the 12th house turns it inward. Mars wants to boldly shout it’s position, in an argument. The 12th house makes it reticent to make a peep. So, it becomes passive aggressive with it’s anger. Mars wants to pursue a woman. Mars in the 12th make Mars insecure and self doubting. Mars wants to pursue worldly goods. Mars in the 12th makes it procrastinate and second guess it’s motives. It may even give up, altogether. This Mars position is the same as the moon in the 12th house, in that it is like a child facing the wall in time-out. First, it has to turn itself around before it can even begin to get where it wants to go. If you know someone with this Mars position, know that they are struggling with a burden which may be mitigated but never totally overcome.

Wow thanks so much for all the info you have given on my chart so far

I am as you say "raw and sensitive" to this world" I hurt easily but I never show it and simply withdraw. In fact I have never felt "protected" in a romantic relationship as I feel I come across as very un-needy and quite unaffected. Yet this is something I yearn for.

I had a difficult childhood. I had wonderful parents but a largely absent father. There were incidents with a family member though...when I was a young child that have impacted severely on my relationships with men

I may have loved but in all honesty I cannot say that I have been truly loved by a man. I am confused though in that although they have not treated me well emotionally, they always try to come back to me in some way or the other. Yes Ami, love is hard for me to come by and my experience of it has been always that it hurts. And yes, it comes so easily to others and i have always wondered why its so hard for me.

I am very awkward and self doubting and the pattern is that I almost leave it to the guy to pursue me to "prove" how much he wants me. Yet when I become affectionate and loving it falls apart. maybe its because I am also so conscious of not being needy and clingy at the same time?

And I tend to be attracted to types that have "something wrong " with them or who tend to lie and misrepresent themselves.

I dont know if you do the predictive astrology thing and can tell me if I will eventually meet and be togeher with my soul mate

Your asteroids will be exciting. What is the listin the prior post? I don't do predictive astrology. Do you mean horary or progressed? At any rate, I don't do them lol

I love working with you and enjoy what will come up, next. I am glad my articles resonated with you. Here is the thing about 12th house, some astrologers like to soft pedal it. I aspire to call things as they are. 12th house is hard and different from any other placement in the degree of difficulty, imo.

As such, we need to address it that way.

Go for it, the more I know the better equipped I will be

One strange thing though...I had a professional reading many years ago and was told that most people have just one guardian angel and my chart showed them that I have two...and as such I therfore have a karmic debt to serve

Any thoughts on that? I never thought much about it...until now...

You prolly have your mind fighting your emotions? You may THINK and FEEL but not as one mechanism but as a going back and forth between the two. Do you feel this?

I feel lost a lot of the time. I feel quite misunderstood as well. And something else...I have very good female friends but generally women tend to put me down...mimimise my achievements etc. Why is this?

As part of taking ownership of my development I am going for Reiki. Today is my second session. My practitioner tells me that my emotional chakra is completely blocked
