Hi, I'm new!

I just have a favour to ask of someone; can anyone do a reading of my chart? I'm wondering what my first step should be when it comes to a career. Soon (next year) I have to be looking at colleges, universities, or maybe jobs, something I can do and enjoy once I graduate high school... but I'm extremely perplexed about it. One minute I'm completely into the idea of some career I have in mind, then a week later I'm second-guessing and jumping onto another one. And I think with all this thinking that I'll never be able to make a proper choice to do something I really enjoy and love.

Can anyone give me a few ideas of what you think might be a good profession for me to enter? I would really appreciate the help! ?

No water. I would need to talk about you, for a while, before I could answer. Do you wish you could feel more, but can't?

Thanks for the welcome!

Feel more? Once in a while, yeah. Like, if I'm trying to comfort someone or feel empathy for other people that are suffering, I know I should feel upset, and I want to, but I'm never fully within their realm, or I'm never on the same level as intensely as they are...

So I guess I'm saying that I do wish I could feel a little more

You are more introverted than extroverted. You will have good luck with a partner such as in marriage. You are very interested in deep repressed emotions and deep taboo kinds of subjects in general. Is this true?

Do you have a hard time with groups? I am seeing some work that is not group oriented, where you can shine on your own that would let you be creative and have fun while you were doing it. How does this sound?

Elemental Voids——Earth Void, Fire Void, Water Void or Air Void
By amiann |

When one piece of the puzzle is missing, you have a fascinating puzzle. Such is the case with elemental voids. There are all kinds of voids such as squares voids, oppositions voids, no planets in the lower half of the chart, no planets in the upper etc. Other voids, I will address later. There can be many possibilities of things that are “not there” . I am an earth void so can speak about this subject, first hand. First of all, lets talk about the elements. There are four elements which make up the chart and hence are the building blocks for any given person—-air, water, fire and earth. If one looks at people , one can observe voids, fairly simply. Some people do not do well with earthly things such as organization. Some people have little get up and go, and must push excessively to get things done. Perhaps, someone cannot communicate well and stumbles over himself express his thoughts. Perhaps, someone is insensitive to others feelings. These could be earth, fire, air and water voids, respectively. If one understands one’s void, one understands why one is as one is. Strangely enough, some people excel in their void area because they strive so hard to overcome the void, that they become a superstar.

I am more of an introvert, though I'd like to be more extroverted.

What do you mean by taboo? I think I have an idea of what you're saying and if I'm right, I definitely have always had an interest in those sorts of things...

I don't have a terrible time with groups, but sometimes I feel like I could do well or better on my own, so if something goes wrong all the responsibility is on me.

I LOVE the sound of something that lets me be creative and independent at the same time! I've always had a penchant for the arts and a lot of the time I think about working in the movie business (maybe as a director or editor), in theatre or in music.

I've never heard of an elemantal void before! I did notice that I had no water, but I didn't think there was a huge significance. Can you tell me more?

Again, I really appreciate the help.

You are sweet
Well, the introverted thing is just how you are. It is planets in the lower half of the chart. The water void finds it hard to feel emotions in themselves and others. Do you miss people's social cues like if someone wants you to leave they have to push you to the door

Hmm, no, I'm usually pretty aware of social cues. I go out of my way to notice how someone is feeling, or if they want me to do something I'll notice. I make a point of making sure the other person's comfortable

How does you lack of water play out? Look up water voids and post the info here and we can discuss it.

Okay, I found a few things on water voids:

"The absence or limitation of Water signs in your horoscope suggests that you may have difficulty understanding the deeper meanings of events and circumstances. Indeed, you may be a little lacking in emotional intensity. This is not to say that you have no feelings, but it does mean that your emotions are not easily engaged and they really don't run deep. You aren't so apt to form those extremely close friendships and relationships, and you may even feel smothered and threatened by strong emotional demands of others. You recover quickly from emotional bumps and scrapes, never letting your disappointments get you down. Depression is never apt to be a problem. Many of the aspects of not having water signs are positive, but on the negative side, you must guard against becoming rather callous and cold, detached and unfeeling. Intuitive skills are not readily available to those with few planets in Water signs. In your view this does not matter so much, because you don't trust intuitive knowledge anyway."

"Lack of planets in water signs:
Powerful emphasis on/obsession with feelings, relationships, e.g. the musician, psychotherapist"

I also read somewhere that people who exhibit too much emotion can grate on the nerves of someone with little water in their chart. Which I have to admit is a little true!

My water void does make it difficult for me to find friends. Not that I don't have any, but I always feel like I can't connect completely with people for some reason. Maybe it's because of my lack of water? The closest friend I have only has her ascendant in a water sign, everything else is earth, fire and air.

OK, so you can feel the water void, in that it is hard to connect to people, emotionally.

Ok, let me think and meditate, a bit. You do not want a career that demands feeling sensitivity like a therapist etc. I will think about it and come back and look.Could you send me a picture, too?
