I have been checking out Pholus in charts and have come to this conclusion. Pholus explodes what it touches. If Pholus touches Chiron, the planet of pain, a person will explode with his pain. If Pholus touches Ceres, the asteroid of unconditional love, the person may be a teacher who gives unconditional love to her students. This was the case in a chart I did. If one persons Pholus touches another persons planet, the Pholus person can make the planet person “explode” in that area. By explode, I mean come forth and break open. I liken it to an infection which comes to a head. Then, it can open and heal.. Each energy is part of being human. Pholus explodes on the scene. He can explode with whatever emotion is bothering him. He emotes, with little sensitivity to his environment. After he explodes with emotion, he does not have a sense of the havoc he has wreaked. Then, he, usually, blames someone else. Pholus is not manipulative, as much as childlike. If he wants to emote, you can be sure he will: the devil may care. A woman had a man’s Pholus conjunct her NN. Indeed, it was an explosive relationship. There are over 2000 asteroids, so one must go, slowly, in trying to understand them. Xion was the first murderer in Greek Mythology. The interesting this to me, about him, was that he had chances to repent and did not. He died unrepentant. He is associated with dark things like lust that goes out of control. The chart I was doing that brough Ixion to my attention, had Ixion conjunct Lilith. Lilith is raw sexuality. It is the chart of a female child molester. Lilith is a very powerful asteroid reflecting the power of primal sexuality. It is mind boggling that Lilith conjunct Ixion could be in the chart of a female child molester. The charts never lie. This shows the inner child will feel nurtured. I was thinking as I was playing my guitar. The synastry trumps the Comp, in general, according to respected sources I have read, so I will go back on the synastry for a while. The synastry is actual. Can you relate? I watched a series about the Wild West. i hated it because it was so coarse and awful about the nature of man without laws but it is true. My longest term relationship had Chiron conj the NN. if there was one word to describe it, it would be pain, literally.
