Hi all 
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! xxxI'm struggling a tad with a newly ex relationship (aren't we all I hear you cry!  ) - as fast as I think I've let it go and I'm ready to move on, some fresh hurt, annoyance, confusion etc seems to leap up and take me back 3 spaces... it really is like some life sized game of Monopoly and I keep landing on JAIL! I had a text from the guy on New Year's Eve which seemed to be just some generic one he'd sent to everyone in his contacts list which hurt/p*ssed me off because I'd sent him a personal text only the day before and had had no reply. Ok fair enough - if the guy is completely silent then that's my answer right? But then why not take the time and trouble to take my name/number out of his phone and out of these 'to everyone' texts?? I just find it rude... so I'm afraid I sent him a bit of a snide message in reply. This morning this question popped into my head (think I know the answer before I even created the chart) and I could just do with a bit of help interpreting it if someone has time?? The question is will I hear from him again? I know I'm represented by Saturn in this which is almost opposite the Moon which would be his significator but I start getting confused when I look at the Sun being in the first house (so in my 'region' of the chart if the Asc is me) and the fact that the Moon is not only his significator but usually the representation of the relationship itself... see this is when I start getting it all wrapped round me a*se! Any help gratefully received!! Honestly, I don't know whether I actually want to hear from him because he's been such a flake that I'm not sure it would be wise. You are represented by Saturn, Venus and the Sun, and also the Moon, even if that is his significator as well . There is no applying opposition with Saturn,that one is in the past, and we only look at the applying aspects. Moon and Saturn are strong, both in exaltation. There is a trine between the moon and the sun coming up , so that would indicate contact, that is the first thing, then the moon is going to square venus, which could indicate that it might not be what you wish for. The POF , moon and North node are all in the same degree, 12, and that is interesting, it is a mixed bag. The POF indicates a favoured outcome, while the North node in that degree is tougher and more harsh. There are more indications that the contact will not be satisfying and that you will decide to move on. That is my impression of this chart.IP: Logged |

And that confirms it: I will spend a lifetime before I can understand Horary!!! Wow Tofu thank you so much!!! Actually what you say about a mixed bag and the contact not being satisfying/moving on makes perfect sense - I think if he does contact me a) I won't want him any longer so from that perspective it's not what I would like and b) I think the only thing he could say would be to confirm what I already know and that's that he's unable to have a functional relationship. So your reading of the chart makes total sense! Thank you so much for your help. Can I just ask why I'm the sun and also venus in this scenario? IP: Logged |

Sun and Venus are in the 1st house (you), and some horary astrologers treat planets in the 1st house as co-significators of the querent.Also, Venus would be the natural significator of you as a woman.
Sun usually is the significator of men (yes, Sun, not Mars), but here Sun is in your house, so could be treated as your co-significator, too. Moon is always the co-significator of the querent as well. IP: Logged |
