I always thought I was born at 12:43pm (17/01/94), but I recently found out (seeming as today is my birthday) that I was born at 1:47pm. Therefore, even though most of my planets are in the same positions (just a few degrees difference), my house system has completely changed (to about the next sign along), therefore, the planets are in different houses, as to the ones I thought they occupied before.

Based on my previous knowledge, I thought I had a 9th House Stellium in Capricorn (Sun, Venus, Mars, Uranus, Neptune); however, now I know that my Capricorn Stellium occupies the 8th House.

Could anyone help give some insight on my chart, and the meaning behind this 8th House Stellium in Capricorn. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I feel as if my Venus stands out more from the rest, which I think is because it's closely conjunct to my Sun; but I also feel as if I have a strong connect to Mars as well, but it's not as strong as Venus

Wow, that was almost helpful....

You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' or ‘astroclick portrait’ interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing. http://www.khaldea.com/ephemcenter.shtml

I am sure I delinated this chart a few days ago...hmmmmm
I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from astro and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

Within the mainstream are placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which /planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple

So, sun mercury venus would all be 8th house

mars is exalted in capricorn but yours if afflicted by conj neptune and uranus.

mars conj Neptune
“This conjunction can pose several difficulties: in choice of actions, where you may struggle to establish what your real aims are; in making that final decision to attempt to achieve them, and in ensuring that sufficient and persistent effort is then made to guarantee success. An unintegrated Neptune can dissolve that focused will, making decisive clarity difficult to maintain. Additionally, you tend to avoid accepting the consequences of your choices, and there can be a refusal to acknowledge responsibility when such actions lead to failure or negative results.” http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_PARALLEL%2C_CONJUNCTION%2C_SQUARE_OR_OPPOSITION_TO_MARS http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11521

Now as Uranus is within 5' of 8th house cusp it is said to be more effective in the next house along going anti clockwise.

Venus conj Uranus IS a divorce aspect

Gemini Asc (along with pisces) is probably one of the most difficult in childhood. I call gemini risers the 'why children' wearing parents down asking questions, why why why. How does this work, why does that do this? sometimes I think parents 'switch off' from constant questions and then the child feels alientated, misunderstood, bit like a square peg in round hole. does this resonate?

your moon is a singleton ie: only planet in fire sign, which your chart lacks this element..

Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.” http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/13.0Singletons.htm http://www.astrologyclub.org http://en.mimi.hu/astrology/singleton.html http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-2334.html
(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression. http://www.astrologyclub.org/articles/singletons/intro/singleton_intro.htm

Fire Absence
The limited presence of the Fire element in your horoscope may suggest the need to experience life more actively. It may benefit you to become more vital, for you may lack the passion and spark that the fire signs afford. This doesn't mean that you don't enjoy life, but merely that you don't seem to know how to insert yourself into the action; pleasure, thrills and glory will be slow coming your way. Your pleasures are apt to be more subtle and sensitive, without the dramatics and flash. Although this void does not guarantee an introvert, you are not likely to be the extrovert. You lack the dare-devil courage of the fire signs, and this includes the utter self-confidence these signs bestow http://www.astrology-numerology.com/elements.html#Fire%20Absence
