Jupiter and pluto and Sun signify him and they are making either no aspects to your significators or stressful aspects to your significators.

Your significators are mercury and Moon.

The fact that ascendent is at 28 degrees is not good either as it means:

A late ascendant means the matter has passed its prime. The question is "post-mature." Often the querent knows the answer and is just testing to see what you think."

Actually his significator jupiter trines venus in the 10th. I think the reason is that he wants to focus on studies and himself and getting ahead right now....and just wants friends who will help with this and no serious relationship distractions is my guess based on this aspect.
