Originally concentrated on the question "Will I still be employed in my current job in 90 days" at the very time and place I focused on the question (I'm assuming I did this part right).

Now, if I understand this right, Moon would be my significator? And House 7 is ruled by Saturn, which is retrograde and in house 4, AND at 29 Lib 30'... so I'm not even certain the horary chart's going to be active.

The ascendant isn't in the critical 0-3 (too soon) or 27-30 ("you already know") degrees, and nothing's matching the lunar nodes degrees.

What I do notice is House 10 (career), Jupiter is at 3 Tau 30', and making a loose opposition to Saturn. Also noting that Saturn is within the Via Combusta at this time.

As far as domestic issues, dad apparently just broke his toe again. He's also diabetic and still waiting on the results from the CAT scan. While not directly related to the question, it is a possibility that could affect my employment in the near future should things turn for the worse.

Also, Moon in 2nd house is opposite Sun/Mercury. And as I understood from some reading, if anything's within 17' of the sun, it should be amplified. It's not, it's about 21', thus in an 8 degree ... "burn zone"?

Mars, the ruler of 10th house in this one, I'm not even sure I should count that as semisextile Moon. I know it's in 3rd house, it's retrograde, and it's in a loose quincunx to Sun/Mercury (both in 8th house). Saturn I'm noticing is also quincunx Uranus/Venus (which are within 3 degrees of the 10th house cusp, and close to each other but in differing signs, and trine Neptune in the 8th house.

Pluto, for my intents and purposes, doesn't aspect anything close enough to be relevant to the question from what I'm guessing.

So what I'm wondering is:

A: Is this even a valid chart with the Saturn placement considered?
B: Am I considering too much or misreading this? (The Saturn/4th house thing strikes me as referring to my father in some way)
C: Should I consider this a provisional "Yes you'll have your job in 90 days", "No you won't and you have X time left", or "You're asking the wrong question"?

I'm not even remotely sure of Exalted/Detriment/etc planet-to-signs in this. Honestly, as this is my first attempt at using a Horary chart, I could look at this all night and still not be certain of the answer. I'm also disregarding the Chiron placement as I understand Chiron to be irrelevant in horary. (Shows up even though I didn't select it). I could use some help, so... Thoughts and advice?

The main thing with horary is to keep it simple. Look at the houses that involves your question and not to others. Limit yourself to the aspects that are in relation to the rulers of the houses and the planets in them. In general not the outer planets. If you have a question about your fathers health draw a new chart at that time.
Anyway, your significator is indeed the Moon, there are no applying aspects to the 6th or the 10th house ruler or planets in that house, so that indicates a No answer.

I see... Hmm. Yeah, I wasn't including him in the main question (which was about the job), but it just came to mind as I was analyzing it further when I looked at the houses and all.

Likely a "no", huh? Is there a reliable time indicator to these? I know the angles are in Cardinal houses, and I think those are the fastest time periods in these if I'm not mistaken.

Some other info coming to light already: Employees classified as "Management" where I'm at (and the Commonwealth of PA has some loose declarations of what's "Management" apparently, which I'm not classed as thankfully) just found out they won't be getting raises for the fifth year in a row. (It's a big story right now on one of our local news sites: http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/02/pennsylvanias_nonunion_employe.html ) ... needless to say, my supervisor's and everyone else's morale took a hit on that today. Certainly makes me not want to seek promotion at any rate. Haven't caught any more hell from human resources this week either, knocking on wood. Not certain that either of those would show up in the chart at all as a "why" to the answer, but thought it may be pertinent.

In relation to the time indicator, as your question was for 89 days, then take that as the indicator. Horary is terrible black white. For any other questions draw a new chart, but not for the same question.

Not a horary chart, but related to the question at hand:

Out of curiosity, I drew up a chart of the start date and time of my current job. A natal of my employment there. I am uncertain how valid such a chart is, but for what it's worth it's here.

From what I could tell from this chart:

Ascendant on Algol. Already ominous, and probably so from the very beginning. Didn't see a specific interpretation of Algol rising though on constellationsofwords.com regarding Algol.

Definite T-Square with Uranus Opposite Saturn, with Moon apexing. If we count the weak opposition and squares made by Pluto/Ceres (which I'm even more reluctant to count Ceres, being a dwarf planet/asteroid), then we could consider this a weak Grand Cross. I'm hesitant to though due to the fact Saturn was retrograde at that time, plus the fact I'd have a 5-6 degree orb for Pluto.

Making this chart even more interesting, Boomerang Yod with Chiron/Neptune sextile Sun, apexing with Saturn and boomeranged by Uranus. That boomerang line also being part of the T-square/weak Grand Cross... um. well. I do definitely feel restricted as of late, I will say that much, and some of the aspects of the job I've felt relatively like that from the get-go. To be fair, I figured I could work with/around that, but so far I haven't had much luck with that. Some lethargy in that regard, which could be related to my natal sun being opposite transit Neptune right now (thus not entirely related to this job alone).

Career asteroids don't seem to tell me a lot other than Vesta opposite Black Moon Lilith and the Enterprise oppose Pallas with ~1 degree orb, as well as Midas quincunx Pallas with 2/3 degree orb. (Midas/Enterprise seem to be out of orb for semi-sextile though).

I haven't checked transits for the time period yet. I can tell you though that I was very agitated at work this week, and my supervisor was seemingly calling me into the office for 30 minutes to hour + at a time repeatedly, multiple times a day this entire week, which also made it hard to get much done on a project that he's specified we're facing crunch-time on in the first place. I will also add that retrograde Mars hit my natal Midheaven exactly this week, which I'm now positive was an influencing factor.

This got a bit lengthy. Thoughts?

Some additions, It certainly is a stressful sight, what jumped out to me first of all was the Moon Pluto opposition( power struggles extreme) and Saturn R. Also a filled 12th house, and the ruler of the ascendant in 12. Neptune in 10, hard to get clarity, and the ruler of 10 Retrograde. To add this on your own observations, its not a pretty picture. I hope you stay strong in it all .

Well, I'm approaching the date that the initial 90 days (or 89 from the time I posted this) is up, and I have a feeling I'm about to have an echo of 7 years ago.

I'll just say other frustrations have been cropping up as of late outside of work, carrying over to work (or should I say, getting to/from work), and apparently there's been numerous complaints about me. Too much of a firebrand I guess (and ironically I get sat down on the day I'm wearing mostly red).

Reexamined the job-natal chart and plugged in a few more of my standard asteroids I use. I'll just note them here rather than upload another new chart, but they seem to be significant:

99942 Apophis at 28 Tau 37'21"
Kaali at 19 Aqu 20'7"
1930 Lucifer at 27 Gem 38'41"
157 Dejanira at 27 Sag 36'42" (Rx)
6583 Destinn at 17 Leo 3'30"
100 Hekate at 10 Pis 17'2"
3811 Karma at 9 Cap 5'53"

Lucifer and Dejanira oppose one another, and are in orb of squaring Uranus/Saturn. So it would appear with my usual asteroids, I do indeed have a Grand Cross, partially acting as the Boomerang Yod kite line mentioned above. Restrictions (Saturn), people feeling victimized apparently (Dejanira, with me being unconscious of doing so (Retrograde?), I know I can be a hothead), rebellion (Lucifer) and revolutionary change (Uranus) is all going hand-in-hand. The not-paying-attention-to-others-while-rebellious with the Dejanira/Lucifer aspect could be amplified by the Lucifer-trine-Neptune/Chiron-Sextile-Dejanira thing.

Also Kaali with Nessus speaks to me of amplification of the "abuser" aspect. Apparently at least 4 other people there fear me (judging from what I was being told today with the anonymous references. Could be 3 with 1 repeat for all I know). This combination also sesquiquadrates my job-natal's Fortuna (one of the aforementioned career asteroids).

Apophis (associated with death, destruction, probably tearing down), is dangerously close to fixed star Algol (close to the Ascendant of this chart). Probably closer to the Pleiades/Alcyone. The fact the upcoming Solar Eclipse will be within 2 degrees of this asteroid in the job-natal chart is disconcerting, considering the eclipse itself already will be squaring my personal Sun/Saturn in Virgo and within 3 degrees of my personal Descendant).

The vibe I had when I started here was: 2 years. It's been 2 years. The fact this is coming to pass when my 2nd year review is due is not filling me with the utmost of confidence, but at least they're not bringing this all out at once at said review. So my containment of frustrations failed big time, more than I caught on. Transiting Mars dancing over the Gold in this chart during the cycle also seems to be an influence perhaps. Eh, hindsight's 20/20. Moving on.

Yeah, I think the horary interpretation's going to be pretty close if not exact-on. May 7th's the 90-day point from when I asked that, I'll update when that day comes.

Well, I was just looking at the original horary question and I don't think anyone mentioned that the ruler of your 10th is Rx, your 6th contains Pluto, and Uranus is conjunct the MC, going into the 10th... these are all pretty negative.

Hmm... I didn't even think about the ruler of 10th being retrograde. As I said, I've still got a ways to go in learning about horary. Uranus with midheaven in a horary about career is usually a rough one then I take it?

I see problems in both charts. There's an applying FM in the 2/8th of the horary which is usually not a good sign. Something will radically change. Uranus is right on the MC of it too. Another indication for radical change.

The event chart is even more problematic and telling. You on algol is not good and made me think you'd do something to create your own downfall or you'd be perceived in a bad way even if you didn't do anything wrong. Venus, you, is also on algol and approaching the AC from the 12th house of self undoing, secrets and hidden things.

The ruler of your career, saturn, is anaretic and rx, showing a change in opinion about you and indicating distress and a permanent ending. They receive you in detriment, so they don't like you. You are basically indifferent to them. They're in your 5th house, so I wondered about love or sex or alcohol or children issues causing problems.

Mars is close to the IC indicating you may move or have family disturbances. It would seem you don't like your co workers or maybe even customers or you're having issues with your spouse/bf.

Moon rules your 3rd of communication and travel & it's critical, indicating issues here. You may be having communication issues there or it can show transportation issues. It's opposite pluto so extreme emotional responses.

It seems the company is having unusual and extreme changes in finances, for good or ill. I'm wondering if it's bad, because they're almost on scheat which is very bad. They also have neptune in their 1st house, so maybe they're shady.

Ruler of 4th, anaretic in 12th. What's going on at home? Did you move or has something happened at home? Are you or someone else having mental issues or substance abuse issues?

As I said, I've had a few... incendiary moments as my firebrand self, so yeah. Although it does seem there were a few people who didn't like to be around me even before the last several months for whatever reason. And you mention the 12th house... isn't that also the house of Hidden Enemies? (The people have maintained anonymity. The personnel guy when he was talking to me even mentioned "machine gun" in one sentence (wtf, I must've made an impression or something.)).

Hmm.... Oh yeah. Didn't think about Saturn being in the 29th degree there. Doesn't Uranus co-rule Aquarius though? (And Saturn and Uranus are opposing). In my personal life outside of work, there have been... a couple incidences of trouble with women (they chose someone else, and the more recent of these weren't very honest with me to begin with apparently, which I had discovered later on). Insomnia has also been a major issue which led to some "talks" from my supervisor to be on time (all "unofficial" talks, but I have a feeling personnel will want to delve into this as well).

Mars, IC, family disturbances... well, I am currently living with my dad, and honestly I'm at the point I'm about to throw my hands up again. There's only so much I can do to goad him into taking actions he should be doing for himself (like cleaning up in his den and finding the dead mouse or whatever, and it's been 2 weeks. Why haven't I done it? Because it's his den. And he's always in there wasting time watching things on youtube. I cannot help people who do not seem to really want help). Obviously this frustration has seeped over. As far as coworkers, I get along with some (at times I do get annoyed when the one goes in and out and in and out but hey that's part of his job so what can I really say there. If I'm somehow hyperfocused on what I'm doing it sometimes doesn't even register).

Communication/Transportation: I have noticed a few more sections of my commute have had sudden slowdowns for no explicable reasons lately, which has pushed me on some days from "should be there at least 5 minutes early" to "badging in late". There's at least two more school buses on this route over the last year as well, which doesn't help. The one junction has been getting much worse, without road construction involved (I think they were going to rehabilitate a bridge but cancelled or merely patched it, which they had to do twice because the fill for the massive pothole on the bridge came out). The fact that the new thing to happen seems to be someone getting into the passing lane and slowing down to 5-10 mph below the speed limit WITHOUT an upcoming traffic backup is not helping either my stress levels or the dozens of other drivers around me.

And close to where I live they approved more warehouses, which means more trucks. But not more roads to support the trucks. Two years ago I wound up with a totalled car because of a truck (I survived mostly unscathed) so you can see why I don't like trucks near as much (I also used to work for a trucking company and... well, long story short, that place sucked).

Getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare as well, especially with people leaving enough of a gap to be inconvenient, but not enough to safely go out (especially with my present car's acceleration), and especially since people at another place a small ways up the road just floor it, pulling out right in front of other people, and my coworkers and I where I'm at still have to wait and wait. And these are the state police HQ people doing the pulling out and flooring it (and I've undoubtedly made a few enemies among them . Probably the one day that generated complaints are when it happened four "should have been able to go" gaps in a row.

The traffic lights and road setups down to get back to the highway have also been more and more horrendous (there have been increased instances of people still sitting on a green light not because someone isn't paying attention, but because so many people had to go from the insurance company on their green light and the next light being red that other traffic literally cannot go. I have little patience for this generally, and this combined with the other aforementioned issues... let's just say I have cursed the name of whoever "planned" this infrastructure many times. A road further up being closed for a couple months and the fact they're putting another facility on this road but not expanding the infrastructure to support this has brought to my mind the fact that delays will only continue to get worse. Honestly, where I work and the state police headquarters really should have a light to regulate this as well, but it'll probably take a fatal accident to convince anyone to do anything about it a year or more later. It also does not help my car is in disrepair (still functional though and probably running better than when I got it, and also the reason my debt load has not decreased at all in the two years I've been at this job, which has also been the highest paying job I've ever held). Severe emotional responses to all of this? Oh yes. (That seems to be at the heart of current matters). Ok, the transportation explanation got long. Moving on...

As far as place of employment having financial woes? I'm in the agency that handles the hunting and licensing stuff for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In short, PA's government. While this agency is an "independent agency" and is self-funding (i.e. not strictly under the governor's thumb) and financially sound to my knowledge, a lot of people where I work are considered "Management" employees (the entire government sets this, not the individual agencies). Management employees are not union-covered and consequently have not received raises in the last four years (plus the possibility that there will be no raise this year as well). This has gone on first under a Democratic governor, and now the current Republican governor (party lines don't seem to matter here). And considering I can pick up on the emotions in an area (unless I collect myself and "turn empathy off"), this makes things difficult sometimes. In fact, the executive director specifically brought this point up to the legislature that it's getting harder to attract and keep people at the agency due to that management pay thing. (and the way PA works, many "management" level people either don't actually manage anyone (they get classified that), or the people they're supervising, depending on position and area, are making more than the people doing the supervising since the union-covered people are still getting raises. Some "management" employees honestly would make more bussing tables at a restaurant if I've seen some of these payscales right. With hiring freezes and general attrition from the numbers of people retiring and leaving, yeah, morale's in the crapper.

Plus I see no reason to seek advancement (I sought promotion once last year once I had my one-year anniversary to another higher slot that wasn't classed as "management", and they decided simply not to fill the position). Transfer to another agency? Well, the problem with that is I'd likely be further inside the capital city at that point, and where I'm at now, at least parking is free. (Inside the city you have to pay to park, and the parking garages are extremely likely to be sold to try to "settle" some of Harrisburg's debt, which will raise prices undoubtedly but not my wages).

Right now one of the big things in Pennsylvania (not related to my agency) is the governor's proposed budget cutting a lot of money from mental health services and schools getting more budget cuts too (in fairness, some of the cuts I think were from stimulus funds not being available anymore, but I think some cuts are beyond that). Google/Bing "Harrisburg crime" and "Harrisburg debt" (especially the incinerator) and the fact that Harrisburg's city government has effectively been taken over by the state government (similar to a few cities in Michigan I believe), yeah it's a mess. The natural gas debate here in Pennsylvania is also a point of contention, especially with people wondering why there isn't an extraction tax (PA's the only state that doesn't have one), but they're going to more-aggressively enforce the general Use Tax for out-of-state purchases now on individuals. That's the economic background of the state. The fact that all "supplemental income" is to be reported and approved by my present employer (which dissuades me from doing a couple ideas I have for other funds right now as I don't want to deal with the bureaucracy and the likelihood not everything would get approved anyways, and to my knowledge also includes things like even yard sales) is also grating my nerves. Lots of Saturnian influence here. Seeing myself as a strong proponent of "free-spiritedness", you can sense a bit more of my frustration.

Well. For future employment birthcharts, I know a bit more of what to check and more on the interpretation side now. At this point I'm contemplating whether I should prepare to resign in light of recent developments, or stand and fight. Sadly, I think I know what the result of the second option is (my supervisor openly said to me behind closed doors that he doesn't want a whole lot of little things to screw me, but it's apparent that's where things are headed right now. I think the other unspoken reason is, he doesn't want to go through the hiring process again because it took them over a year to filter down to me the last time they looked for people, and I think they went through dozens of people).

Clearly I'm not a fit for this kind of position any longer. While I should be grateful to have any type of stable paycheck with this economy... I feel like I can do better.

Wait, Chiron in the job-natal was anaretic too in the 10th transitioning into the 11th... what would that represent normally?

May 7th (the 90th day) has come and gone.

I still have my job, at least for now. I haven't heard any indications that I'm getting the boot anyways.

Let's see what the rest of this week brings.

Funny I mentioned my father during this thread and jobs... Here's an update:

He finally quit the one job he had to go to a similar job with a promise of higher pay and more hours (32/week still counting as "full-time" for later benefits purposes) within about a week or two of the 90-day period of this horary expiring.

2 weeks later, quits the new job. They gave most of the 32-hour full-time people 40 hours, but him, and only him, was relegated to 16 hours with no explanation. The manager wouldn't even look at him or say anything when confronted. So he washed his uniforms and went in and turned them in. Handed them to the district office rep who just happened to be there... who happened to be talking to the manager who wouldn't (and at the point my dad went in) still wouldn't say anything to him. Something was going on, and my dad's convinced it's age discrimination to a degree.

So time and person whose job was affected turned out to be different, ultimately. Plus I'm still at my job and I'm coming across more reasons I need to go to the next one (mainly career-wise now as I don't see myself being able to keep my skills up-to-date in my current position, plus I checked salary comparisons with averages in my fields and I'm making slightly more than half what I should be making. While the benefits are supposed to make up for the lower pay, with the current public-sector worker situations playing out across the United States, I don't look for that to be true for much longer. Plus if I leave before my "vested" period, I think I can reclaim some of my taken-for-pension money, which I estimate would be able to finance any relocations in the first place... to a locale where I have a better shot of better-paying work in my field (computers) and can better provide financial assistance to my dad who's now only getting social security, with some of that being garnished by the VA. Long story short, medical billing.).

I'll have to do a few more horaries at some point down the road and see how that works. Interesting first attempt at this though.
