Lovely anecdote about Saturn from member mahaira on astrologyweekly.com, quote: There's an interesting thing I read somewhere, which I would never take as a rule as it oversimplifies matters - we can guess where someone's Saturn is placed, broadly speaking, by asking him/her "What do you want (or did want) but don't have?"
Saturn in the 6th house Have to work for what is received. Difficulties with employees and in working conditions due to a separateness and a demanding-ness. Hard worker but shouldn't expect everyone else to have the same attitude about the job. A tendency to worry and fret can cause health problems even stomach ulcers. They may worry unduly about their health. Can be a little bit nit picking and be irritated far to easily. Makes for cautiousness and practicality. Work is not as important as attitude toward it.Security may be found in hard work. These people have high expectations and meet challenges, delays and difficulties at work. Efforts are rewarded by slow advancement. Probably work alone and behind the scenes. Won't moan about work just get on with it.You will gain confidence by your untiring efforts for perfection, and will gain much respect from co workers. Saturn in the 7th house A separate tendency deep within makes it difficult for this person to relate to others. Must learn to co-operate with others. Early marriages brings difficulties because of lack of maturity. Can marry for security rather than love. Extremely sensitive but hides it from the world. Often marriage is delayed and it can be to an older person. Really wants a mother not a mate. Not good for partnerships in business if Saturn is afflicted. Lone-wolf type who does better alone but he doesn't learn as much. There is a need for stability in partnerships, but there will usually be delays, sometimes caused by external obstacles such as parental opposition or financial difficulties, which can be used as excuses. These people have high expectations. They are often attracted to those who are older and more experienced, sometimes committed elsewhere. Few friends are allowed to get really close. May need a sensible partner to advise them I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from astro and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment….. Within the mainstream are placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which /planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAwGtMWl4z4 saturn square pluto albeit wide orb will add ambition, hard work and poss touch of ruthlessness.. mercury and mars are both singletons Basic astrology forum, retrogrades,Unaspected & Singletons http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Basic+Astrology&number=12&DaysPrune= To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. plus venus retrograde (going backwards)

moon in capricorn is in detriment AND afflicted between uranus and neptune, which shows problems with mother, women and broken friendships, relationships. In fact moon conj Uranus is a divorce aspectIn Equal house mars would be 12th which is a difficult placement. Ruler of the Eighth House in the Twelfth House "If you have psychic abilities they will probably manifest on a more intuitive level. You have the ability to research psychological matters and you may have very strong feelings about wanting to help other people." http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr8 you can research all your house cusp rulers. You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' or ‘astroclick portrait’ interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing. http://www.khaldea.com/ephemcenter.shtml If you want to learn how to use an ephemeris try here.. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42496 here is my favourite online ephemeris which plots where the planets are for hundreds of years... OH MY GAAAAAWWWWD...romantically, I have this terrible tendency to want what I can't have...then when I have it, I get scared or feel trapped and end up ditching the person...fhousasdfhdof! But anyways, I definitely think the Seventh house interpretation of my Saturn fits me so much more. The Sixth COULD fit, I guess, I'm not sure. I'm moved, touched even! Learning more about myself is exciting and scary and...and...fwuafh IP: Logged |

You're also quite young. When you get a few more years under your belt this will likely mature quite a bit. Trust me.
