i want to really do something with my career... i feel like i need time for my career (related to physical therapy/organic chemistry and i kno it is a very odd mix)... i have been very interested in astrology since i read the linda goodman's love signs book lol (read it abt 5 years ago)

i was in a relationship for the past 2 years and 1 month which ended abt 2 days ago (she is pisces). i believe it was due to my issues. i was disrespectful of her wishes (my neptune square her venus) i never cheated on her but it was just some other stuff... she was the one that ended it but i kno she is hurt and she wants me back (knowing pisces)... i do love her very affectionately ... it is a long distance relationship (try houston to minneapolis)... i have known her since 5th grd and she was also my next door neighbor... have only seen her before we were in a relationship but we used to skype daily ... i really want her to concentrate on her studies... i feel like i have distracted her a lot... i believe that she came to me in college (on skype lol) due to the distance from parents... so i was her comfort, her go-to guy for issues in life ... i totally have no issue with that ... i had open arms for her on this matter... and i will continue to allow this otherwise she will cry (i kno she has already cried after breakup)... sorry for extending that story... but you said

i recently started using pof ... i was interested on this topic can you give and example of how pof is important... i kno that it is a calculation of the arc from sun to moon (viceversa for night chart) and that is extended from asc... but what would happen if it has a planet transiting through it?? does it act as a benefactor for the planets qualities and if so in what sense would it help??

i have been trying to gain weight (bet you dont here that often) and i have been keeping track daily (almost like most girls losing weight but also wanted to see how weight might be related to astrology)... that is definately good to here tho

yes i do have a strong inclination for groups of people! and when you say family... can it also include my girlfriend on this matter because my parents kno her and almost treat her like she is part of the family...

Check the placement of the Sun in the chart, it must be sensibly placed relative to the horizon for the given time of day. For a day birth, the Sun must be above the horizon.

From astro.com explanations on POF
We use different formulae for Pars Fortunae for a day birth than for a night birth. You can change this rule with an option in the extended chart selection.
The day formula is: ASC + Moon - Sun
The night formula: ASC + Sun - Moon
Astrologers differ in their views about which formula to use for Pars Fortunae.

i always have a tough time organizing the way i read someone's chart...

the trilogy, Sun, Moon Asc are three most important things in a natal chart. Look for clusters in houses, aspect patterns, singletons, elemental balance. then look at aspect grid for hard aspects.

If you see a singleton, say lacking in earth planets, look what planets fall in earth house by way of compensation ie: 2nd, 6th and 10th. If lacking air and no planets in air house, then look to see how mercury is aspected to see how they communicate, but you may find this lack is quite common and i call it 'sweeping statement syndrome' with not enough thought behind speech patterns...

If you don't have a TOB or birth place, you are pretty stuffed. simply use 12noon or 6am but you must mention no confirmed TOB

chart rectification is possible but takes time and you know what they say about, time = money.

Solar arcs are really simple, especially for beginners, just move the Angles, Asc, Desc, MC, IC 1' for each year of your life onto planets and vice versa. Not just used for rectification either. • If under 12’ when it conj an Angle then their age was under age 12 it’s parents adjustments. A death, change within father’s work, a separation, remarriage.
• Adults or teens, 1st job, identity transformation MC.
• Pluto conj Desc = death, health concerns, geographic, significant relationship or break up, but has to be ‘life transforming’
• Also try transiting Neptune, something dissolving, disappearing, confusing etc.
• Timings of transits… is it the 1st hit? More often it’s the middle retrograde hit… but could be the last direct hit also. 1’ =4minutes in time.

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

and yes i do like doing charitable work behind the scenes... volunteered in an Alzheimer's nursing home when i was in high school! I think my best characteristic is that i help people when they dont kno they have been helped (can be a bad thing sometimes too :/ because i tend to overdo it from time to time)
