I'm afraid I do not know how to do tarot or rune. However, I do like sabian symbols. Like the Angel Cards, Sabian Symbols are wise and spiritual. It does not answer yes or not, but portrays a perspective for us to reflect on. Like you, I would not cloud you with my interpretation, but let your higher self and intuition to guide you where it resonates. For that, I've drawn a Capricorn 3 for you. From Dane Rudhyar: quote: PHASE 273 (CAPRICORN 3¡ã): A HUMAN SOUL, IN ITS EAGERNESS FOR NEW EXPERIENCES, SEEKS EMBODIMENT. "KEYNOTE: A powerful yearning for whatever will increase the scope and depth of one's contacts with other living beings. ...What is implied in the position of this symbol seems to be the strong drive in every human consciousness or will toward new experiences, whether they are constructive or destructive. Man may grow and gain understanding and wisdom through both types. Yet the yearning needs to be tempered by an instinctive evaluation of the end results of the experience. ...It shows us what is behind all uses of power, anabolic or catabolic: a strong DESIRE TO PROVE ONESELF.
From Blain Bovee: quote: Capricorn 3: The human soul receptive to growth and understanding When you resist change, life comes for you...'Receptivity' is the key word for Capricorn 3. This is not a passive 'receptivity'. This is the act of receiving. How is receiving an act? Think of it this way. How often has it been the case that you find it hard to receive a gift from someone. How hard to let a compliment or praise in? How many people walk the earth believing they are unlovable? ...If you are finding energies intense and unsettling these days, try practicing openness and receptivity. let the love in, let the praise in, let the gift come to you, let the energy unseen and strangely powerful come to you for growth and understanding.
quote: Avidity...Marc Edmund Jones uses the keyword 'avidity' for Capricorn 3. This has always been of interest to me. 'Avidity' means, on the one hand 'eagerness'. But it also means the overall strength of binding between an antibody and an antigen in biochemistry. This is significant. It suggests the word image for Capricorn 3 carries a metaphor likened unto the function of the human immune system. ... Therefore, we can be alert to issues of immune system function in Cancer/Capricorn 3, as well as carry the metaphor to understanding how as humans we respond to our environment... a constant interplay between known and unknown which is a dynamic that requires receptivity in order for growth and understanding to occur. The Sabian Sage Daily for Dec. 23-24, 2010, will introduce another element to these thematics: tenderness and indestructibility. One might consider other senses of immunity... legal, for example. The idea is that, following Capricorn 2 "Three stained-glass windows, one damaged by bombardment" addresses that which can be destroyed , yet cannot be destroyed. Think of tearing down a church, cathedral or temple. The bricks, stones and mortar can be razed, but sacred space can never be destroyed. Carry this reflection to Capricorn 3 and one can feel the movement that both builds and destroys, that is both building blocks and yet tender and receptive. And Capricorn 1, "An Indian chief demanding recognition". If you follow the flow through these symbols, a story emerges: One stands up and claims power.... "I am up for the job/position"... there are criticisms, objections that suspend the matters while in the approval/disapproval process.... there is a natural response to the objections, much like an immune response to toxic bacteria, or there is an awareness that one is immune to attempts to bring you and your ambitions down. I suppose Nietzsche's oft quoted line , "What does not destroy me makes me stronger" may in apt here.
quote: Theme: Immunity.Inspiration: Indestructibility is strangely also tender, open and receptive. Today: Much talk about immune systems lends a cold scientific perspective of a battle ground between antibodies and antigens. An antigen is a foreign (strange) substance such as a toxin which triggers a response¡ the productive of antibodies. Now consider this: the human soul grows because it is receptive to the strange and unknown. The interaction is a response to the unknown. Think of donning a warm coat when venturing into a cold wilderness. The day is such that how one approaches the strange and unknown is at issue. If the world is seen as a battleground, the response will tend toward warring. If the world is seen as a tender and sensitive response organism, softness and receptivity will prevail.
quote: Theme: BondInspiration: Things that bond easily and rapidly together share deep desire and affinity. Today: Receptivity to growth and understanding is a process whereby wondrous results are formed through a special bonding process. Consider the human ego¡ who you think you are¡ coming into alignment with deeper dimension of who you really are¡ soul¡ through intense desire. This is one way to understand the ways of abundance manifestation, or dynamics of miracle manifestation. Caution is suggested when desire tips toward consumption or even greed. If there is something that you intensely feel is a 'must have', perhaps check within for how well this really alignments with who you are in a higher sense. Festive cheer of a liquid sort may prove all too tempting, for example. Over indulgence may be merely grasping at consuming or consumption. Inner guidance is available, however, and as the Moon nears new later in the day, ask yourself, "What do I really need to feel fulfilled?"

I did a Rune reading on ifate for you since I don't have any physical cards or runes or anything like that. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a shot. I did a three rune spread and this is what turned up: quote: Past - "Uror" The rune in this first position gives insight into underlying forces in the past which may have a bearing on the current situation.Perthro Mystery Perthro represents that which we cannot fully know. Perthro, which signifies a cup, must be consumed to understand what it contains. Fate is at work here, and answers can only come with time. Explore. The cup of Perthro represents fertility, mystery, and all things hidden. The hand of fate, through Karma or divine predestination, is showing itself strongly in one's life. While fate is often complex and impossible to understand, this rune indicates a powerful order and purpose behind seemingly random events. Fate is both powerful and unknowable -- a force which we all must ultimately respect and give way to.
quote: Present - "Veroandi" The rune in the second position gives insight into events that are currently unfolding now. This may be a major indicator, or a minor indicator that deserves more attention.Nauthiz Need Needs have been unrecognized or unfulfilled. The path to healing and fulfillment lies in answering these fundamental needs. A course of action must be chosen. Desire and need can be a source of strength. Something is desired or lacking by the querent. Without fulfilling this need, forward motion will be difficult and unpleasant.
quote: Future - "Skuld" The word "Skuld" literally means "necessity", and this position indicates an outcome that must necessarily occur based upon the current situation. Changes in this situation may alter the prediction of this rune. Ehwaz Travel Ehwaz is the symbol of "two horses" and represents travel and forward movement. Slow development is indicated, and an ability to work together. Companionship, trust and loyalty are also represented. A good relationship.
Most simply put, Ehwaz symbolizes 'forward energy and movement'. Ehwaz may represent general travel and steady progress-- or it may literally represent a car, plane or another method of transportation. Ehwaz also symbolizes communication over long distances, and can refer to an important message that one will give or receive. Harmonious concord and pulling together as a team is also referenced here.
So, I took this all to mean that you are in the position you are now because of fate or karma. It was inevitable that you would end up where you are now because of a lesson that you must learn. At present, you have a need or needs that aren't being met. If you can't meet these needs, moving forward is going to be difficult. But you NEED to move forward. The last rune says it signifies travel but also companionship and steady forward movement, so I wonder if the needs you need fulfilled tie into your romantic life and a partnership would help you move forward. But because it says steady forward movement, I think it's something that isn't necessarily going to be easy or a quick fix. It'll be something that takes hard work and determination. It all sounds very Taurus -- slow and steady determination. Hope that makes sense!

Tying with the Sabian, seems like saying you need to move forward with receptivity and being open. Like your tarot reading for me, embrace those new experiences. If you are receptive, then what seems tough and rough would have a soft landing, and like a grain sand embraced by the shell could become a pearl. IP: Logged |

i pulled an M from my rune bag and since my book isn't for divination, this is from the first site i came across.M Ehwaz(E: Horse, two horses.) Transportation. May represent a horse, car, plane, boat or other vehicle. Movement and change for the better. Gradual development and steady progress are indicated. Harmony, teamwork, trust, loyalty. An ideal marriage or partnership. Confirmation beyond doubt the meanings of the runes around it. Ehwaz Reversed or Merkstave: This is not really a negative rune. A change is perhaps craved. Feeling restless or confined in a situation. Reckless haste, disharmony, mistrust, betrayal. http://www.sunnyway.com/runes/meanings.html IP: Logged |
