so looking at the rulers of MC/venus 2nd is virgo/mercury cappi/saturn. Unfortunately, none of these make an aspect to each other suggests a few problems

What can and probably will happen is that a progressed planet will 'activate' something and hopefully things will drop into place. it's also worth seeing espec if these 3 are parallel in declination, which may add an aspect, (where there is none) natally. Contra parallels act like an opposition, and parallels act like a soft conjunction.

Your prog sun has JUST changed signs in to aries for next 30years and this 'should' add more impetus and iniatiations to your character.

I would also recommend researching solar arcs as another form of divination, which are extremely simple.
