Anyways, since I've also read that the influence of eclipses tend to last anywhere from 6 months to about a year or more (basically from eclipse to eclipse if I'm not mistaken), this one very much piqued my curiosity...

The most glaring things that pop out to me on this one:

- The eclipse, at about 0 Gem 20', conjuncts my asteroid Destinn almost exact. (It would also be within a degree of my natal Medusa placement). Also, the Solar Eclipse will be right on the Pleiades and Alcyone.
- SE Saturn, still retrograde, on Spica squares my natal Jupiter in Cancer.
- SE Kaali conjuncts natal Nessus on Sirius, which also squares my natal Mars/Pluto (and by being in stellium to Mars/Pluto, natal Venus)
- SE Hekate conjuncts natal Kaali.
- SE Neptune conjunct SE Destinn, opposition natal Saturn/Sun, squares natal Ascendant.
- SE Vesta conjuncts natal Moon/Chiron, with SE Mars and SE Pluto/Natal Ceres completing a Earth Grand Trine.
- SE Jupiter conjuncts natal Karma, which was on Algol, solidly in 6th house for natal, and right on the SE Descendant (which would appear to put that close to Algol at first glance, but I think the orb is a little wide for the SE Algol).
- SE North Node within 2 degrees orb of natal Ascendant, and likewise for SE South Node/natal Descendant
-SE Venus sextiles natal Mercury, all but forming a yod to natal Lucifer.

Seems like I'm in for a destined time of things. From what I can interpret with this:

- Solar Eclipse on Alcyone/Pleiades. Well, from Pleiades and Alcyone together per http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Alcyone.html , both seem to have in common the Injuries to the face, sickness, misfortune, disgrace, murder, stabbing/shooting, and with both being in SE 7th house, blindness (however since natal Saturn's out of orb for Regulus (but is conjunct the natal sun which is right on Regulus, sounds like a lesser influence for such). Maybe my eyes start to lose a little more focus during this period? I've been fortunate for not absolutely requiring glasses at 33 and a half.

And considering the city I work near just got rated as the 20th most dangerous in America (apparently Harrisburg, PA is more dangerous per capita than Compton/Philadelphia/Baltimore???), particularly with shootings and stabbings (recently there was a shooting that took place in broad daylight. In front of the cab driver's mother's church. On a Sunday morning.), I am particularly wary of this placement together. Especially considering the natal Destinn/Medusa placement. (I know the eclipse will be on those fixed stars for everyone, but the fact it's also so close to my natal Descendant also gives me pause).

- The SE Kaali to my natal Nessus squaring my volcanic Mars/Pluto/Venus stellium (emphasis on Mars/Pluto, which by themselves are on fixed star Algorab, nature of Mars, gives way to "malevolence, destructiveness, fiendishness, lying" and "Delays and restraint are indicated to come about by fiascoes, losses, wrong handling of matters and enmity in general. Accidents or injuries difficult to avoid."), well, since Kaali/Nessus are on Sirius, I'm not certain what to say about those asteroid placements on that star. Sounds like with this combination, I need to not only "Not be a victim, but not an instigator either." Also, Sirius in 8th house: "According to tradition, Sirius will give a famous death with honors beyond the grave, if positioned in the 8th house." The intersections of luminaries, asteroids and fixed stars, especially with these potential interpretations, so far is giving me great pause. I wish I knew the more positive aspects of these stars, but it seems the sites I reference don't have as much of those for Alcyone-Pleiades/Algorab/Algol. For now, it sounds like I need to take the utmost care. With the natal Nessus/SE Kaali, I could also be prone to (possibly severe) psychic attack during this time period. (Which would lead up almost to the Dec. 21st 2012 point, which makes me go "hmm...")

- The Jupiter aspects, both SE and natal: With SE Saturn on Spica, sounds like suspicion by itself, and prone to extravagance, but also a possibility of legacies, as well as an interest in occult affairs. With the squaring of natal Jupiter, I'm not entirely certain how that will play out. The SE Jupiter on natal Karma on Algol, sounds like I may be paying the piper in some way soon. I think I may already be feeling the influence of this as I have some major car maintenance coming up tomorrow and it's starting to run rough. Mercury is also currently retrograde as I write this, so that I'm very certain is an influencing factor.

-The SE Nodes on my natal Asc/Desc. line... sounds like to me I have some choices to make. Again, fated events coming to the forefront. SE North Node in Sagittarius sounds like an inclination to take more risks. Might pay off if the rest of the aspects, as well as my own personal choices, don't backfire on me.

-The natal Mercury/SE Venus with natal Lucifer as apex yod... I'm not sure what to say about this. Maybe I have an epiphany in regards to how I communicate with women? Maybe communications with women causes no end of trouble? I'm not certain. Natal Lucifer's in my 2nd house, natal Mercury in my 9th, and the SE Venus (retrograde) on the SE 8th house cusp. Money and social prestige sound like a likely theme here with this one.

Spending the next 6 months or so under a rock isn't a real option. Nonetheless, it sounds like keeping a low profile might be the better part of valor in light of these placements. Also, I'm wondering if my dad factors into this at all, as he's looking for another job (currently works part time at a convenience store, thankfully in a small town a mile away and not in the one city or even the other town 3-4 miles away). And, he also mentioned the next door neighbors were up to some suspicious activity last night too. We're highly alert at this point.

Of course, I've avoided/defied fate before. (like the accident with the tractor trailer on Jan. 15, 2010, in which had my angle been slightly off that car might've gone under the wheels of the truck and... you get the picture. A story in itself.) As with all things, we'll see.

Now SE like transits are only affected when making an aspect to a planet or Angle ie: Asc/MC

Good advice to live by. I realize they're influences, and that I can override those. That said, I'd really like to know the more positive aspect of those stars regardless. I know Johnny Depp hasn't lost his head with an Algol placement yet, so that alone tells me there must be some positive potential.
