Alright here goes.I just can't find a proffesion that would suit me. I wonder if anyone sees a specific area that's highlighted in my chart. From what i could gather Mercury is important in my chart but i can't see how. I'm a lousy communicator, people misunderstand me all the time and i always have to repeat myself (mer square asc). So clearly i can't work with people well. I have good work ethics and i have never been late for any of the few minor, short term jobs i held. Stability and constancy would be my hallmark i guess. I know i could get far, but i can't find anything i would have a longlasting interest in. College as you can see from my 9th house didn't work out well for me. So no fundations to build upon there. Any advice would be welcome, thanks. Chart: http://imageupload.org/en/file/210971/23.jpg.html

You're still young, so I dont see why you can't go back to school. Heck, It doesnt matter how old you are, I'd say to go back. Your chart shows someone who will benefit from education even if there are delays with it. Dont be discouraged. Your chart looks good for teaching. Maybe it doesn't mean a traditional teacher, but definitely teaching others, and helping them. Have you ever thought of being a teacher? Also have you looked into Banking/Sales jobs? that is also highlighted. IP: Logged |

Teaching?? whooa, that really isn't my cup of tea. As said, I can't really speak well, and I'm terrified of presenting in front of groups. To top that, I don't think anyone can follow my dissoriented train of thoughts. But I can see why you mentioned it.. all the 9th house/jupiter/sag activity. My first study choice was economics, but I only got lost there. It was just as Pluto was transiting over that stellium, and i was in a major depression. Obviously I failed to finish and I never ever want to go back there. It's like the saddest part of my life. Now i'd just like to find some "behind the scenes" job, away from any kind of publicity or competition. Even if it's not paid that well, I only have myself to support anyway. The bad thing is, that for almost anything you need a uni degree here, since the jobs have become so limited. =/

The thing is why don't you want to try going back to school? I think this is something you personally need in your life. Not everyone needs to go to college, there are people who can find a career path without but your chart feels like It needs that path even though you don't feel you do need it. Do you feel like you can't speak well because of insecurity? IP: Logged |

I lack fluency and coherency. Theres also this harshness to my speech. That's the Pluto square I assume.Mercury is in Aqua (rules 3rd house) and a singleton. "When Mercury is a singleton there are special, unusual issues in terms of thinking and communicating." and "Since all singletons imply a degree of stress, and they certainly come out when the person is under stress, the thinking and communication of these people is notable." Source: http://www.astrologyclub.org/articles/singletons/mercury/mercury.htm This exactly sums up my situation. I have problems with insecurity from as long as I remember(moon-saturn obviously) and with that comes the additional stress when eyes are on me. Then I get lost in sentences, words skipping out of my mind and just become confused and frustrated. I then start reading from a paper instead of presenting. But I see what you mean, Jupiter aspecting MC and Sun while rulling 9th... Obviously career connected to higher education somehow...or travelling, writing/publishing, but I do neither of those things. If I was religious I could hide in a monastery, but now.. IP: Logged |

How are you with written communications? Are you good at that? Do you express better that way? Also have you thought of the subjects of science, technology, computers? Possibly inventing something or working for one's self.IP: Logged |

Much better, since I have time to edit myself and think things through. Something with computers and technology would be ideal yes, at least it's something I like. I have no real talents though, and little motivation for the dedication that science demands (particulary long lasting studies). You know mars in sag, motivation comes and it lasts only for so long, even though this shuld be a good placement for someone involved in higher education and prolonged studies. It's funny how my sun/moon combo was supposed to be all about ambition and working toward goals, and i have none of that "installed". The last couple of years (even in college) I've only been searching for an answer to what I want from life, but more and more I figured I just want to observe and play no role in the society. So that's why a background job is preffered. I think I had too high hopes and felt college would answer questions only I can; That's Neptune in 9th heh, getting lost on the way. According to NN that's how it should be. IP: Logged |

I dont think a background job is likely with your chart. You may even be called at one point to be a leader or run something by yourself. I think with Sun and Moon in Cap, you can be very insecure to the point of possible constant unhealthy thoughts. You should look at your prog asc/mc and chart in general. Sometimes changes in prog can give you a "aha!" moment in terms of what you're suppose to do in your career. Post it up and I will give you some thoughts.IP: Logged |

This is the one i believe. http://imageupload.org/en/file/213760/ghdfhd.jpg.html There is one interesting clue, about a year and a half ago, i got this job at some press agency (just some background job they give to students). Progressed MC was just about to hit natal Mercury at 11° (which coincidently rules 2nd and 6th house). It's a job alright, but nothing i would like making a career of. No way, too much public exposure, dealing with people and lot's of bad reputation. I don't see journalism as a respectable career either since all the major media is beeing manipulated anyway + you have to be one nosy ******* and have no problem with bugging people for answers. Meh, screw that, there must be something less humiliating. IP: Logged |

Prog 6th house is in Libra, ruler changed signs, Im guessing a year ago(might want to go back and look it up). When a planet progress, you feel the changes, but It's my personal belief it takes a year or year and half to process the changes that are occurring. First the ruler of 6th changed to Aries. It was in a more quieter sign in regards to work(pisces). Now It's in Aries, the ram, the bold, etc. I think you're going to start feeling the changes and at least shift into a different mind set soon. It will at least be easier, to try a different approach in regards your life ambitions/career. Look at how ruler of 9th/10th are in a tight conjunction about to shift into Capricorn(unless it changes to retro, no way for me to look it up without data). 29 degrees is known for being a karmic degree. Your philosophies, beliefs, and how others perceive you might change dramatically in the next year. If Uranus does shift into Capricorn by progression, which rules your career house, I wouldn't be surprised if you started a job that you sticked with for a long time. It will be a job with a lot structure, old fashion ideals.IP: Logged |

Ha! My previous job was in the elderly home, very peaceful and quiet there (i really needed that back then).. Venus was at 29°40' Pisces at the time i swithced to job in media. It's the complete opposite here, much more lively atmosphere, people rushing around, coming and going etc.. Very much active as you'd expect from Aries...So that change is already showing, but i'm not sure what all those squares to venus are supposed to mean in this situation. Maybe the fact that this change was a bit hard to adapt to for me? Regarding career.. Those two fellas won't be moving into Cap for another 3 and a half years, so expect the unexpected until then huh? IP: Logged |
