I am so sorry for your dog.

Unfortunately I can't help you with your question, I'm no good at Horary..

But wouldn't a pet be represented by the 6th house? If so, the ruler would be Mars but it doesn't seem to be making any applying aspects.. I'd look for the 12th house ruler, which is Venus, but they are in a separating square.. So maybe the answer is no? I hope so..

Sorry again for your troubles.

Regarding #1

You are represented by Venus
your dog is represented by Mars
You are also represented by the moon.

Now in this case I would defer ruler of your dog's either house which would start in your sixth house meaning his potenial death ruled by the 8th house falls in Libra which means venus

and as Doux Reve indicated there is a square from your dog's 1st house rule mars to his eighth house ruler suggesting that he will not make it.

Regarding going home immediately in chart two

You are represented by virgo (mercury) and the moon your home would be represented by the 4th house (scropio ruled by mars) but since you are inquiring about travel we turn the chart to your fourth house and make it the first house and look to the 9th house which is Leo which is ruled by the Sun.

We see the sun with no connection to mercury but we do see a trine to mars. Hence I would say yes travel home immediately.

Again I'll put forth the disclaimer that I'm nowhere near an expert or well-versed in horary.

I read your post and am sorry for his suffering and can understand your emotions. I dont have a dog but my sis does and though i hardly go there we have a bond between us (the dog and me). And my sis's kids (grown up) are so attached to him and vice versa. Have you gone there to be with him?
