Today I was lurking around on the net, and ran into a mention of the next Cardinal Grand Cross coming up in about two years from the time I make this post. I think the context of the article was regarding the interaction with the US Sibley(sp?) chart, which painted an ominous picture by itself. (I forget where I read it though )For comparison, I decided to transit that date for my own natal. From the initial look, whatever impacts the United States during that time period looks likely to impact me greatly as well, and that Grand Cross hits even more things in my personal chart...
Transit Data:
- At some point around the time of that particular exact Uranus/Pluto square, the Moon also conjuncts Pluto and becomes part of the cross.
- Jupiter squares Uranus and opposes Pluto.
- Mars will square Jupiter and Pluto while opposing Uranus, completing the cross.
- As these are all planets to the outside orbits from Earth, the impact of this (minus the moon conjunct Pluto) will hit everything for an extended period.
Now, the aspects to my natal that are getting me:
- Transit Jupiter on that date conjunct my natal Nessus on Sirius, fitting squarely into the transiting Grand Cross.
- Natal Venus/Pluto/Mars touched by transiting Mars, which incidentally will also be on fixed star Algorab.
- Natal Eris with transiting Uranus. This will be interesting to see as this spoke of the cross affects everyone born around 1976-1980 if I'm not mistaken.
- Now the part that's very much throwing me: The Uranus/Pluto square part of this both sesquiquadrate my natal Sun, forming a Fist of God/Thor's Hammer/Quadriform (whatever name you prefer) aspect within a 1.5 - 2 degree orb overall. Transiting Nessus opposes the natal Sun in this as well, completing the... um... "Fist-Kite". As the Sun is the apex of that particular form, I'm getting the feeling I personally will be very much impacted by whatever happens.
Why even think about this now? So, in theory at least, I can be more prepared for what's coming is my line of thought. Forewarned is forearmed.
