The cards you drew are interesting in terms of what I can expect from now on because they seem to be advice to someone who's in a relationship... I have a nasty feeling you might be right about not giving up on Mark. And I say nasty because I just feel like no matter what I do to cut ties with this man he seems to entice me back. But it's unhealthy - he manipulates and tries to use me and I won't let him do that again. I wonder though whether the cards suggest that there'll be a break without anyone and then 'timing' will bring me the right person with whom I'm supposed to give things a chance... that makes sense to me. I feel like there's about to be a period of being very much single.. and that's ok

The family issues card is interesting and I think I know what it is - it's his father. His dad was a womaniser and hurt his mother very badly... she's an alcoholic and I think the main 'trigger' is her relationship with his father. He was angry at his dad for years and then they made their peace just before his dad died last year. However... Mark seems to be emulating his father in some ways. I think this card shows his 'struggle' to forgive his dad and perhaps himself for behaving in the same way?

Re the childen card one of his exes got pregnant and then had a miscarriage. He does want a child I think and at first I was hesistant because I've already got my little boy, but then I sort of warmed to the idea when everything was 'good' between us. I never said a definite 'yes' though. I'm now very glad I didn't because I think he would be the worst person to have a child with!!! So disfunctional and unreliable. Re reversals and this deck I think I remember reading they don't have a reversed meaning in the same way as Tarot cards do.

To be honest, I'm in a strange sort of state where consciously and logically I want nothing to do with him. However emotionally and out of habit I can't seem to cut the ties properly. It's a karmic thing with he and I for certain. But I want to be with the person I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with... and I'm praying it's not him because I fear it'll mean the rest of my life will be full of hurt in that case. Sounds daft I know because I don't HAVE to be with him if I don't want to... but for some reason I almost feel it's going to happen despite my best efforts to prevent it... very odd!
