Hi!

I usually post in the astrology section, not so much here, but recently I gave myself a reading because I had a very strange experience a few months ago and needed some clarification/advice about it.

The question is regarding a person that I've been acquaintances with for many many years--we know of each other, but have never gotten involved beyond that; I met him as a teen in church 12 years ago.

Something happened recently which made me start to view him differently and it really took me as a surprise.

Here is the spread--Celtic Cross of course.

1.) The Lovers
2.) Ace of Cups
3.) 9 of Wands
4.) Knight of Swords
5.) 4 of Swords
6.) 7 of Swords
7.) The Fool
8.) The Empress
9.) The High Priestess
10.)The Chariot

Additionally, when I was shuffling, the Strength card fell from the pile.....

Does anyone have any insight? What does this say to you as an observer? What conclusions or things could you conclude from this reading?

Thanks :-)

for the 3,4,5,6 cards there are many variations. Which where is their placement for you? Top, bottom, right, or left?

Did you ask a question? What thought were running through your head when you pulled the cards?

Hi littlecloud (cute name by the way!)

I asked what the nature of the relationship is/would be. Basically,if there would be an opportunity present to know each other better in the future.

I had a experience a few months ago and I wanted to see if the cards would affirm my intuition or tell me something different.

The number just correspond to the Celtic Cross layout....

I know what the numbers correspond to, but they change the reading according to where you put them. Some put the 3 on the top, others on the bottom.

From the chariot your answer is yes, there will be an opportunity. The High Priestess indicates you will know when the time is right.

littlecloud--

Thanks for responding!

I see what you mean now.....

I had the the 9 of wands to the left, with the knight of swords above, followed by the 4 of swords and 7 of swords in the 5th and 6th positions on the right

I was really taken back by the lovers/ace of cups/empress....and then the 7 of swords with the final outcome of the chariot. The 7 and the chariot are the same number--but to me, I don't see the connection. Especially since the 7 is the immediate future and the chariot seems to implying that things will happen very quickly...the whole reading really surprised me.

Thanks for your input! :-)

I look at the 7 of swords as hidden thoughts...at least for my deck it seems to fit.

I think some patience is needed (4 of swords)....perhaps he's in another relationship?
Lovers, I see as past life soulmates the obstacle, ace of cups tells me that this love needs to be acknowledged.
Perhaps he was seriously hurt in the past and needs time to let someone in...
The fool, you're heads over heals, and have high hopes for the two of you. The Empress I take as he seeing those qualities in you.

Just saw this on keen.com "When the Seven of Swords card appears in a reading with The Chariot, your quick wits will bring an unlikely victory"

Hi littlecloud!

Thank you so much for your interpretation--You really are spot on--he has been hurt and there is some murkiness on the relationship front--I've heard different things in church.

I looked more into the 7 of swords--and finally made the obvious connection--of course swords= mental activity. It's one of those cards that really bother me!

As far as the soul mate thing, I was really again, taken aback by that. I never looked at it from a past-life perspective, just the typical Lovers interpretation.

I've seen this person around for YEARS and suddenly, I saw him in a different way! So these cards definitely answered my questions....for now at least :-)

Thanks for your help :-)
