Hi All!

I just received and am eager to master a new deck, The Mary-El Tarot.

I have been the very lucky recipient of readings from so many of you - I would like to initially offer 5 readings.

I'm going to follow LoveBeingAries suit and specify these instructions in your asking:

1) Be crystalline in your question: It's fine with me if you have a question that is multi-faceted, but try do distill it to one question.

2) If you've asked about this matter within the past week or two - be content to let time reveal from the other readings and ask on something else - or let someone get a reading who hasn't yet.

Right away, I want to say - this has little to do with money. More money would make your job easier to tolerate - but not more meaningful. You are not one who equates money to self-worth or value. Though you do appreciate the finer things - so if you are to negotiate a raise - you will enjoy the rest of your life more.

I have pulled the Knight of Cups, which speaks to the voice in my head that kept saying "Graphic Design, Communication Design, Arts..." - you are a creative, emotive being - and you will feel fulfilled by your work when that is the trajectory your career aligns with. There is another aspect to this which this card speaks to, it is more esoteric: you desire to be part of something transformational within the context of this work. And a key word that is coming out here is "self-made", also, "compassion".

Have you an interest in freelancing? Or starting your own business?

For timing I pulled the Page of Cups. This deck has the Page of Cups as an initiator of the Heart's desire. Timing wise it is set to the Zodiac period of Leo. Lay the groundwork now for the trajectory you want, come July/August - I'd expect you to have more meaning.

Both of these cards confirm you are a powerful manifestor at this time!

The artist who created this deck has set her time frame differently for the court cards Littlecloud. She has a very detailed explanation referring to the Aeon of Taurus (Taurus as the Spring Equinox) as opposed to Aeon of Aries which we presently reside.

Much of the symbolism she uses in the cards incorporates Qabbalah (as we are used to in Rider-Waite - think Wheel of Fortune - those Fixed Elements are actually representative of the Cardinal Elements of the time! Neat, huh?!) - but Egyptian, Sumerian, and Babylonian as well.

I'm telling you - this deck was worth every penny. Now I just gotta figure out uploading the images so everyone can see them.

I smiled when I read this WildPlaces... no it's not a pregnancy but it was an important message to me. Very important. It had to do with me telling him I wouldn't allow him to treat me as an 'option' any longer and that I am no longer his 'lover' as he likes to call me. I told him I am now holding out for the one who treats me as his 'priority' instead.

He's not replied so that's as the reading describes. But it is a birth in a way because it's the birth of the new me - one who won't allow herself to be treated badly.

Ah that helps, having it spelled out for you like that. From the images, I really really really like your deck it really is such a work of art. The different images even changes the meaning for me. Some of the Rider Waite interpretations help me understand what I read better, but some just don't make sense in my readings, because of my deck's illustrations.

If you get different cards.... So see no new patterns emerging, then the cards are telling you that you are asking the wrong questions... Example. Sometimes you get yes and then sometimes you get no.

But with the right question the cards, no matter how many times you ask will yield very similar results. A pattern will emerge very quickly with out fail. I guarantee it

All I truly want to do is be a housewife. Yes, I know that sounds funny, but it's because I realldy do love take care of others. Cooking....no, not at all. Maybe that has something to do with staying at home.

I work in Admin for a hospital/university and actually have an interview today for a college rep at the college. It would be more on my path of helping others, but I know it's going to be to sales for me! But yea, I know I am on the wrong path and felt it for a very long time now. Thanks very very much! It gave me good insight!!

Sorry Cherful, I had difficulty quoting your quote. Accepting you yin and yang means loving the light and dark within you - not just the good stuff. It means honoring the failures in your life as much as the successes as lessons to creating who you are...it's about integrating and acceptance.

If you want to be a housewife ultimately - there is nothing wrong in that - absolutely no shame. For women who have that in them - their families are incredibly lucky. Since you asked about career, rather than love or family - I picked up on nurturing - and came up with cooking. Perhaps caretaking would be a good fit for you, or even professional nannying. If nurturing is what you love to do - and you love to be home and make a home - follow that.

I wanted to ask, I know that technically you shouldn't ask the same question repeatedly, but sometimes if I'm not understanding what the cards are trying to tell me, I re-shuffle and re-ask. Sometimes just to see if there is a similar theme, or be more certain..pulling clarifiers seem to confuse me wrong. Your opinion?

She had the most compelling review of the deck there - you might be interested to read more; and heck - just bookmark her site because she's flippin' awesome.

Regarding readings wherein I get a card that doesn't make sense...

It really depends on my energy. If I'm reading in front of someone - it doesn't tend to happen - because my energy is clear and I just don't get in a space where I'm distractable. Sometimes, though, in the privacy of my home, reading online - the energy can become blocked - or my own thoughts may find a way to read too much into the card.

When I do get blocked - it's usually that odd sensation that happens when you look at a word and can't read it...so I just start over, and make sure that I'm focused on the querant, present in the moment, and know what I'm asking of each and every card.

I pull one card at a time - one question per card. Some people only get one card because it's that crystalline. Some people end up with 8 or more because that's how precise the Universe wants the message to be. If my intuition guides me to pull more than one, I let my intuition guide me as to the next best question as well.

I find traditional spreads always confuse me and block this flow. It's just organic for me - I hope this made sense and helps you in finding your rhythm (or reestablishing it) - because as I recall, littlecloud - you're quite good.
