Hi everyone, I've been researching a certain synastry for months now and I wanted to get y'all's opinion.
Does having both Moon square Saturn & Mars opp Saturn aspects in synastry amount to a dealbreaker? (I'm not totally sure about Moon sq Saturn as the orb is barely 8 degrees. Anyway, this is a long term, long distance relationship that I've been in for a while with quite a few emotional rollercoasters - but is this built to last or too difficult?

I see a lot of strengths in the synastry (venus trine mars both ways, my Sun conjust her Descendent, Sun trine Mars), and the composite looks pretty good with the Sun / Mercury / Venus conjuct in the composite, except we've got Mars opp to Sun/Merc/Venus.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any opinions or insights.
Hope to get more involved with time.
Thanksss.

The Moon/Saturn square is too wide, I wouldn't really count it.
Mars opposite Saturn can indeed be quite difficult but it usually forces people to work on their issues and creates a very bonding connection, it's like the glue which holds the relationship together, *but* the two individuals have to be quite mature and willing to work things out. If either of you doesn't handle responsibility well and doesn't like to feel restricted, it will likely create a few problems.

The overall synastry and composite look quite good in my opinion, the only thing I notice is that your Moon is unaspected? Do you feel emotionally fulfilled in that relationship? There could be a sense of something missing on a deeper level.

But I think it's very "workable" anyway.

I appreciate the reply Doux Reve.

I hadn't noted the unaspected Moon...However is there a possibility of Moon conjuct Moon with an orb of 8 and half degrees? I have noted that our emotional states and moods correlate quite a lot.

But otherwise, no I don't feel emotionally unsatisfied. But maybe the other positives in the charts have made this issue less apparent...I do see the composite Moon having some favorable aspects, could that be involved? Also, in my natal chart I have some favorable Moon aspects, would that have any impact?
Thankss
