I'm not all that experienced with Synastry, but I believe the inner person's Moon and Mars falls into the other person's 8th house. That can indicate a strong attraction, although I'm not sure if it's of the fatal kind. 8th hous is all about intensity and depth.
I'm tempted to mention Pluto on someone's 1st house but that in itself may not indicate obsession..maybe one of you strongly influences the other.
Mars square Venus, maybe? I wouldn't count Venus square Venus, just means different expressions in affection and tastes.
I'm not too good with asteroids, lol. But I read on a website that the Draconic synastry chart can show hidden aspects that aren't present in the regular chart.
I hope someone way more experienced can help you out, at least.

Saturn conjunct ascendant. Does the Saturn person (on the outside) have a strong hold over the asc person?

Like you couldn't get away even if you wanted to? Like they got you in a headlock? I'm not saying it's a bad thing! But it might not be the easiest thing. There are lots of interesting Saturn aspects actually, this is one that's going to stick. I do see obsession. Mutual fascination in fact. It's all that 12th and 8th house activity. Are you the inner person? I hope you're comfortable with your 12th house (!) cos Mars will shake that up a bit. Is it a romantic relationship?

Sorry I didn't read your other replies. Of course it's a romantic relationship. At worst there will be paranoia and trust issues, at best it's the stuff you didn't realise your wildest dreams were made of. Don't read too much into things, including astrology, is probably the best advice I can give you with this one. The 12th house is polluted very easily. Believe in each other.
