Question: Will we talk in July?

Ruler of Gemini (me) is Mercury. Mercury is in 3rd house, so it shows that obviously I want to communicate.

Mars in late degrees though, I don't know what that means...

I believe he's Mars in 5th house Virgo. Mercury rules Virgo as well as Gemini.

I noted that Mercury sextiles Mars in 5th house, which shows an opportunity or positive.

Soo..is this a yes? Did I get it right?

Also, I tried calculating when by looking at the moon, not sure if that's what it's usually used..I can't come up with anything yet since I'm still reading about it. I do know that the moon is in a Cardinal sign (Libra), which is supposed to be the fastest moving, right?

Rule Number Two (the most important rule): Keep it simple at first.

In horary it can be very tempting to examine the relationships between every single planet in the chart, to see what they’re ‘doing’ and what they ‘mean’ in the chart. Don’t!

All you really need in most charts is:

The 1st house ruling planet
The planet ruling the house of the quesited
The Moon

What are these three things ‘doing’ with one another? Applying? Separating? Are they ‘friendly’ to one another (Sun in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo, for example)? Do they ‘dislike’ one another?

*but wait, in this link it says ex-boyfriends + romantic interests should be counted as 7th house...

so if that's the case with you, then Mercury is you, he is Jupiter, and they are applying with a 1 degree sextile, + Jupiter is dignifed in the 12th house(but also detriment in Gemini), but it points to a yes?

No he's not an ex, just an interest. So I guess since it's square..I'll take that as a no. I read somewhere that a square means no.

Hmm, I just thought he would be Mars..ahh so confusing!! Lol. But thanks you for your input and clarifying things!!

But someone told me yesterday that it looks like we'll be speaking within 9-10 days..which is why I asked the question -shrugs- looks like you got a 10 too lol..

You're specifically wanting to know about communication(3rd house), Moon rules the 3rd and the Moon could also refer to the other person(not just you), so then you are Mercury, he the Moon? Moon square Mercury 10 degrees applying again then.

I checked and Mercury sextiles Mars so that's what I went for originally lol. I checked on astro.com (birth chart) and they did sextile..but hey I can be wrong

Yes you have Mercury sextile Mars 5 degrees, but it's seperating, notice the 5 S, so that's not good. It needs to be an A(applying).

If you increase the orbs on Astro.com to 150% (the lovely appleberry uses it like this) ! , then the Sun would be applying to the Moon 15 degrees (however Cancer/Libra are not 'friendly' signs), so there is hope! lol

He being a potential love interest is represented by the sign of the descendant, Sagittarius which is represented by Jupiter.

Since this is a romantic Question you are represented by venus and he the sun.

The moon reflects your feelings on the issue.

You need to check the "rules"

What I see is a moon that will not form any major aspects prior to leaving it's current sign which means a bad result for the person posing the question.

Let's see if I get this one right..

This time I'm Saturn in the 9th house and he's the moon in 1st house (weird?) Would he also be the sun in 7th then? or just Mars this time as well? Main sigs Moon squares Saturn and they are separating, so that's an instant no, so disregard the rest, right?

Saturn conjunct Mars (ruler of his 3rd house is 10th house Scorpio). Saturn conjunct Mars is applying..means I want to talk to him?

Venus trines Mars also applying (just means I really like him?).

So how did I do?

Moon(he) square Saturn (you) is applying (see the A under square).

He is detriment in Capricorn and ruled by you. in your first house. I think this again means he is waiting for you to make the first move. lol

the square is applying but it shows obstacles, since Moon is detriment, he won't make the call unless you contact him first I think.

also Venus + Mars are seperating (see the S under trine)!

I checked on the Interactive section and it showed the square as being the first one that's separating and not the first one that's applying =/. So how do you do it?

Edit: Oh, I see now! I have to look under Saturn instead of under the Moon . Omgosh, thanks!!

Edit#2: Wouldn't it make more sense to look under the planet that initiates the application instead of the one that receives it?? For example, you look under Saturn here, but the Moon is the one that initiates the contact with planet Saturn not the other way around 0_0.

Moon makes two squares.

First one: Moon Square Saturn
Second one: Moon Square Mars

I looked under the moon (chart) and the first square (Saturn) is separating.

For Saturn:

Moon Square Saturn
Saturn Square Ascendant

Saturn Square Ascendant is the one applying..
